Vi rejser en afstand på 31 km til Turda Salt Mine. Vi vil have en guidet tur på engelsk og bagefter vil vi have fri tid til at drage fordel af faciliteterne i denne forlystelsespark. Liste over aktiviteter: pariserhjul, minigolf, bowling, sejlads på den underjordiske sø, poolbord og bordtennis. Omkring klokken 12:30 tager vi til den anden attraktion.
Turda Gorge Efter at have besøgt saltminen, tager vi 30 minutters bilkørsel til Turda Gorge. Kløften er næsten 3 km lang med 300 m høje mure skulptureret i forvitret kalksten. Det afhænger af din fysiske tilstand her vil vi tage en vandretur på 5 km eller 9 km i en cirkeltur. Vi finder et vildt karst-panorama, med høje klipper og stejle med skarpe højdedrag, klippetårne, lange stier til vandreture, klatreruter, vandrestier og snesevis af huler. Kløften er en kompleks geologisk, biologisk og arkæologisk fredning. Mange af hulerne var beboet af forhistoriske mænd siden yngre stenalder. Denne lille og vilde canyon har en unik fauna og flora. Medbring kameraet, fordi du vil blive imponeret over det arbejde, en flod udførte inde i et bjerg i hundreder af millioner af år.
Efter vandrestien tager vi til landsbyen Rimetea. Kendt for sine traditionelle hvide huse med grønne vinduer, er Rimetea en af de bedst bevarede og smukkeste landlige attraktioner i Rumænien. Det er også den første landsby i landet, der blev tildelt Europa Nostra-prisen for den vellykkede bevarelse af dens arkitektoniske arv. Rimetea var i hundreder af år et vigtigt mine- og smedecenter, der var vidne til både fremgangstid som handelsby og forfald som en simpel middelalderlandsby. Udover at have denne unikke og charmerende arkitektur, ligger landsbyen også i et vidunderligt geografisk område. Det er omgivet fra side til side af 500-600 meter kalkrige massiver og gennemløbes fra nord til syd af floden Rimetea. Her tager vi en rundtur i landsbyen, hvorefter vi serverer et varmt rumænsk traditionelt måltid.
Vi vil gøre et kort stop ved et kloster malet af nonner. Om aftenen tager vi dig tilbage til Cluj Napoca

I went with Turdo, our guide, and another traveler, and the three of us became like friends. We came from three different continents, and my English wasn't great, but we talked and shared a lot during the trip. Turdo was a fantastic guide, arriving on time – the van was very spacious – he had a welcome gift and drink, gave detailed descriptions of each attraction, and took us to a great restaurant, offering us local specialties. He was very attentive to us during the hike, as some sections of the trail were slippery. This was a worthwhile trip, and I would recommend it to my friends if they ever visit Cluj.
Tudor was absolutely brilliant, he had a real love of Cluj (and Romania in general) and really sold how wonderful the country was. His knowledge was fantastic and he really give some fantastic insights into every place that we went.

Super friendly and informative guide. Only a small group of people, so guide and other guests always engaged. Excellent variety of local sights. The salt mine was an amazing and a must see place! A fast zip wire for the adrenaline junkies or just watch. The walk through the gorge was simply stunning, a beautiful place with lots of different wildlife. Peaceful unspoiled villages low key respectful visit to an outstanding monastery. Excellent restaurant for lunch. Highly recommended
We had the most beautiful day of our holiday,went to picturesque places on the country side,had the exceptional experience of Salina Turda,visited monastery and had delicius food in a traditional restaurant with great grup of 7 people from all around the world and our amazing tur guide Tudor the perfect hoste.Will come again soon,and we really recomend this trip as a part of your holiday
Can’t say enough about our day with Tudor.. Filled with knowledge and good vibes from beginning to end. If I were Romanian I would be proud that I have good people such as him as an ambassador for my country and Cluj. I was so glad to have his guidance as we explored the the mine in Turda as well as a breathtaking hike through the Gorge, and the visit to the nearby village of Rimetea and the Monastery of Archangel Michael was a sweet bonus. Highly highly recommend a day with him as it will paint Romania and Transylvania in a completely different view for anyone who attends. Many thanks
We spent the day with Tudor touring the Turda Salt Mine, Turda Gorge, and Remetea Village. He showed us around the neighborhood and explained the traditional houses, he was very knowledgeable as his family was from the area. We stopped into a local coffee shop to have a latte and homemade lemonade before finishing up the tour at the Remetea Monastery to see the beautiful frescos painted by the nuns. 10/10 would recommend this tour!
Simona (sorry if I’ve spelt wrong!) was an amazing guide. On time, full of energy, lots and lots of interesting knowledge about any topic that was brought up, sharing the history of Romania, the salt mines etc. Plenty of time spent in each place, she took us through some incredibly scenic places, recommended great food, incredibly day. Definitely recommend
Pretty good experience overall. I had a great time in the mine and in the gorge. Sadly I won't give a 5 rating because we skipped the monastery for some reason
