Our tour guide Lady is exceptional

Amazing experience, great tour guide! Overall a stellar experience that I would absolutely do again!

This was the first time we had booked an excursion on our own, so we weren't sure how it would turn out. We had read about Irie Tours on Tripadvisor and knew it had gotten really good reviews. So, after walking off the pier, we searched for a vendor booth with Irie on it. We were greeted by a young lady in a bright yellow shirt with Irie on it named Leidy. We explained our situation, and she asked if we had already booked a tour with Irie. After telling her no, she called her manager and told us she had room on her tour bus and we could pay at the end of the tour. As for the tour itself, we got on a bright red, yellow, and green school bus with Leidy and the driver Ruth. There were approximately 15 other guests on the tour. We never dreamed there was so much to see on such a small island; but believe me, the four hour tour was filled with many exciting highlights. What really made the tour so special? It was Leidy, our tour guide, who was extremely knowledgeable about Curacao. Our tour began with a walking tour of the Scharloo neighborhhood. Leidy had called the "everyday, working people part of the island." Here, we met the extremely friendly "locals" who ALL greeted us with smiles and hellos in the local language (which Leidy had informed us of). The homes and streets were extremely colorful. A crocheted overhand that covred an entire stree was spectacular. We leaned quite a bit about the remarkable history of Curaco. Then, we jumped back on the bus and headed over a huge bridge for a tour of the island. This included several stops highlighted by a tour of the Landhuis Chobolobo Factory where we "sampled" blue curacao; a viewing of wild flamingos, and finally a stop for an hour at the small but beautiful Mambo Beach for swimming and relaxation. The four hours went very quickly and was just the right amount of time to tour Curaco. Leidy was full of stories about local folklore; extremely funny; and truly gave us a glimpse of what makes Curaco such a magical island. My wife and I highly recommend this tour. There was lots to see and do, and we really had a fun-filled, exciting day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

My Husband and I were looking forward to this tour during our stop in Curacao. When we got off of the ship we went straight to the meeting spot and there was no one from Irie Tours there. We were told they were usually there by now. I waited until 9:30 and still no one. A security guard called them and they said the tour had been canceled and had sent me a message a couple of days before. I did not have wifi on the ship so I hadn't seen the message. Very frustrating. Yes, Viator returned my money. So instead of paying $70 per person we payed $25 at the port and had basically the same tour, I guess... Still a bit disappointed that Irie Tours canceled on us because of lack of bookings. Maybe they need to reduce their price a bit and more people would book with them or maybe make someone's day by giving a private tour to someone that has searched the excursions over many times to find the perfect one. Curacao is a Beautiful place..

Completed an Irie Tour with Andre as the tour guide. We were greeted just outside the cruise port and Andre was easily recognizable wearing the Irie Tours shirt. Thanks for the wonderful tour.

They cancelled the trip - maybe not enough people.

This tour was really nice and we enjoyed it!! Elmer was the tour guide. He was really nice and knowledgable!! We learned a lot about Curacao!

I really enjoyed our tour with Irie! Lady and Johnny were our tour guide and driver team, and their tour was very informative and also fun! My favorite stops were the Spanish waters and the shopping at the pier. I highly recommend this tour and excursion! The locals also sold items at very reasonable prices!!

Due to low number of people required to operate the bus, our city tour was cancelled. However, I was immediately contacted by the Shannon and was offered other options for tours (at no additional cost). I chose the Sunset Sail which was awesome (drinks and food were great). She even added transportation to the booking. Excellent customer service and communication! Thank you so much for taking care of us. I highly recommend Irie Tours!

Just enough information provided by the tour guide, not overloading it. More than enough time allowed for taking photos and enjoying colourful streets. Food was very good! An easy-going tour, highly recommended!
