Curaçao er kendt for sine fantastiske strande og krystalklart vand, men der er så meget mere til dette øparadis. Vores ekspertguider tager dig med på en rejse gennem den rige kultur og historie, fra den koloniale arkitektur i Willemstad til de farverige vægmalerier i det historiske Pietermaai-distrikt. Her vil du vende tilbage med os til det historiske centrum af Willemstad, der ligger på den sydvestlige side af byen, på Curacao. Få en chance for at lære mere om vores berømte flyvende bro og tage et billede af vores seneste fort bygget i 1803.
Dernæst krydser vi den højeste bro i hele Caribien. Udsigten fra toppen omfatter hele panoramaet af Punda, Otrobanda og Schottegat og er et af de højeste udsigtspunkter på øen.
Scharloo er det fjerde og yngste kolonidistrikt i gruppen. Det blev oprindeligt brugt til landbrug og skibsbygning, men blev senere hjemsted for nogle af øens rigeste købmænd og deres palæer. De fleste af disse bygninger er i dag blevet restaureret og genbrugt som museer, hoteller og kontorer. I dag er Scharloo ved at blive et af Willemstads mest kreative distrikter med nye virksomheder, restauranter og kunstgallerier. Mens vi passerer i Punda vil du lære en masse om Punda selv, betydningen af Dushi og Curaça, vores vand og få nogle fantastiske billeder ved Curaçao-skiltet og Dushi-skiltet, mens du lærer om vores dronning.
Lær alt om den verdensberømte Blue Curacao-likør og destillationsprocessen. Smag de forskellige smagsvarianter af vores Curaçao-likør og modtog 1 cocktail, valget af Blue Daiquiri eller Tamarind-muldyr eller 1 alkoholfri cocktail, valget mellem jordbær-Margarita eller Summer Punch per voksen.
Efter spiritusfabrikken vil vi gå til rytmen af bachata, merengue og salsa til Mambo Beach eller Aquarium. Ved dette stop kan du kombinere begge attraktioner eller blot nyde en kold øl eller et kreolsk måltid på en af restauranterne på Mambo-stranden. Når vi forlader stranden eller akvariet, fortsætter vi med rumba til lyden af latinsk musik, dans, gruppebilleder og drinks og afslutter derefter turen i byen eller, hvis du ønsker det, tilbage til hotellet/krydstogtet.

We really enjoyed our tour, learning about and from people of Curaçao Our guide taught us a few words of papiamentu, and shared with us about local ways of life, education, politics and how most people from Curaçao speak 4 languages by adulthood. It was great seeing the otrabanda, punda, the old fort, and going on the distillery tour. We skipped the beach stop and had a wonderful time.

They were great. She showed us around on a tour and took us to the distillery for tasting and she sang a solo and they dance and teach us the local language

We found this tour company once we got off our cruise boat and they did not disappoint! They drove us around Curacao while telling us everything we were looking at as we went along. They were very informative and friendly. Stopped at a local beach for 2 hours and that was beautiful. Would highly recommend using them again!
