Først skal du blive hentet fra dit hotel, og efter cirka 1,5 time når du Cu Chi-tunnelerne. Ved ankomsten får du gennem en kort video en introduktion til, hvordan Cu Chi-tunnelerne blev lavet, og hvordan det vietnamesiske folk led under strabadserne i krigsperioden. Bliv taget til at opdage det resterende område og en del af tunnelnetværket, som omfatter særlige opholdsområder – køkkener og soveværelser side om side, og kampfaciliteter – våbenfabrikker, lager, kommandocentre og felthospitaler. Lær desuden om farlige fælder og skjulte fældedøre inde i de labyrintlignende tunneler til guerillaens sikkerhedsformål i krigstiden. Interessant nok, smag speciel te og kassava, som engang var hverdagskost for de tidligere vietnamesiske guerillaer.
Spis frokost på en lokal restaurant og besøg derefter My Tho by. Tag et afslappet krydstogt langs Tien-floden. Derefter kan du besøge en kokosslikmølle, en familievirksomhed, og derefter blive ført ned af de små kanaler med træsampaner for at nyde den behagelige atmosfære i flodregionen. Nyd årstidens frugter, tag en slurk honningte og få en fornemmelse af sydvietnamesisk folkemusik gennem musik fremført af de lokale. Du vender tilbage til Ho Chi Minh City cirka kl. 19.00.

This was my first time visiting Vietnam as a solo traveler, at first I was a bit doubt in joining a one-day open tour to visit the Chu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta,haha even though my English was limited. being the only Muslim woman participant, with friends from various countries, but they were all very kind and friendly.However, everything was very impressive, amazing and the tour guide was very helpful.
