Cu Chi-tunnelen er undergroud by med boligarealer, køkkener, opbevaring, våbenfabrikker, felthospitaler, kommandocentre. Et sted var der huset op til 10.000 mennesker, der praktisk talt levede undergroud i årevis ... at gifte sig, føde.
Start med en privat båd for at se landelivet i Mekong. Fortsæt derefter med at krydse langs en lille bæk til Mekong-flodmundingen, til Con Phung (Phoenix Island (langs naturlige bæk og rolig landsby, besøg frugtplantager, biholdende gård, smag narural honning, nyd tropisk frugt, traditionel musik, se rundt om et destilleri, udforske den lokale kokosnøddeproduktionsproces, smag slik og kokosnødmasse.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and ideal for couples and families. It struck a great balance between sightseeing and relaxation, so we never felt rushed or exhausted. Our guide, Bao, was energetic, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable about the area’s history. Me and the family really had a great time with Ata! We also gained new insights about the Vietnamese culture because each time we ask Ata questions, he would explain it to us right away. Ata is very fun to be with during the trip because he takes good picture of us especially at the tunnel hahahaha. Overall, it was a fun and great experience at the Cu Chi tunnel and Mekong.

We joined the Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta day tour as a family of four, and it turned out to be much better than we expected. Pickup from our apartment was on time, and the whole day felt well paced — busy but not rushed. Our guide explained Vietnam’s history clearly and in a balanced way, which helped our kids understand what daily life was like during the war years, not just the military side. The Cu Chi Tunnels were definitely the highlight. It wasn’t only about seeing the tunnels, but learning how people actually lived and survived. The Mekong Delta part was a nice contrast — peaceful boat rides through small canals, beautiful scenery, and a simple local lunch that everyone enjoyed. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the driver was careful and smooth. Overall, the tour felt professionally organized, not like a rushed “checklist” tour. For families visiting Ho Chi Minh City for the first time with limited time, this combination is a great way to experience both history and nature in one day. We’re glad we chose this tour.
