Our guide was Kerry, such an amazing, lovely, knowledgeable and enthusiastic person! She told us of the history of Cork and its old canals that made it known as the Venice of Ireland. Those canals are now the streets and alleys of Cork, which gives the city a quaint character. The English Market was amazing, with great samples of seafood and chocolate. We ended the tour at a lovely pub where we enjoyed cheeses and shared stories. A definite ‘must do’ in Cork!
Kerry our guide was the best!!! She was personable, actually very funny, and knowledgeable. She chose the best local places and food! Highly recommend
This was an amazing tour. We sorted with an Irish coffee and then hit the English Market which was amazing.i wanted to try the spicey beef and we started there and then moved on beef pie, raw oysters, steamed prawns, smoked mackerel, seaweed, fresh berries, sweets, Guinness abd cheeses. It was all delicious abd peppered eith stores from our guide who was a native. Best food tour I hace had.

Excellent tour with Francis, nice mix of history, tasting amazing local foods and getting many great tips and recommendations for other days on our trip. Francis was very personable, she made everyone in the group feel comfortable. A highlight was watching her interact with the local vendors in the market and the pride they take in their products. I highly recommend booking this tour!

Met our hostess, Celia for a walking food tour of Cork City on our Ireland trip. She is a most gracious and friendly guide who lives in South Cork. We covered about 4 miles on our walk, visiting the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, a couple of pubs, and the English and Irish markets. It was good to begin with Irish coffee! We then sampled spiced beef, fresh seafood, local cheeses, chocolates, and a fabulous type of beef and gravy pot pie with buttery crust. After about 2.5 hours, we thanked Celia for her guidance, knowledge, and delightful conversation, then took a nap…

This is a must do if you’re going to Cork. We had a fabulous time learning about Cork and tasting many delicious foods. Kerry was very knowledgeable, funny and she truly loves what she doing.
