An absolutely amazing trip. The tour itself was very well organized, and thanks to our absolutely brilliant driver, Patrick, and guide, Richie, the entire trip was incredibly engaging. This was our first time in Ireland, and this trip left us with the best memories. We were amazed by how carefully the bus was driven the entire way. Richie told us a lot about Ireland and the Irish, and we learned an incredible amount. We were very pleased with their friendly attitude and willingness to answer all of our tourists' questions. Thank you very much, and good luck!
Too bad, no audio guide in French. The sound at the back of the bus made the guide's speech incomprehensible.
I planned a trip to Ireland with my parents and wanted to do day trips without driving myself, so this day tour was perfect! Seamus was our guide and I really liked his "tour-guiding" style, which was a mix of stories/jokes, etc., and his great music choices! As for the tour itself, the day we went was rainy but honestly we kind of liked how it made the drive moody and somber in an ironically perfect way. All the stops were great, and I got to make memories with the parents and take beautiful photos : )
This is a great way to get out of the city and see the countryside. The mountains were spectacular and it doesn’t get much more Irish than waiting for sheep to get out of the road. Seamus was a fabulous tour guide as well offering up plenty of history and context with plenty of hilarious commentary. Will definitely do it again.
Our tour guide Shane was Amazing!! He gave us really good advice at our stops and shared so much information about our stops. We got to feed sheep and pet them! So awesome!!
Out sourced to Lally Tours Rainy day Seamus tour guide driver saved the day with his wit humor singing stories n inspired in-depth facts ! Fantastic Job, Abby was historical n great tho a bit of a rainy walk. all stops v good
My husband and I just returned from Ireland and we actually enjoyed two different day tours via Lally Tours. We absolutely loved both trips! We were very impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of our two guides (shoutouts to Shane and to Seamus!). The buses were comfortable and the itineraries were thoughtfully planned to include great cultural topics and visits as well as numerous fun activities, as well as rest stops to stretch and use the bathroom. We will absolutely use Lally Tours on future trips to Ireland, and whole-heartedly recommend this tour company to others!
This is an excellent tour! Lally tours used a modern, very clean coach, and comfortable coach. A full day outing can seem like a lot, but the itinerary had just the right amount of sightseeing and stops for small breaks. Kylemoore Abbey is a beautiful setting! The scenery there is unique to this part of Ireland and the route takes you through the wild countryside of the west. Our out guide, Shane, was great! He was engaging, intelligent, funny, and really knows his stuff! We lucked out and had a bright and sunny day as well. Lally tours cannot create the weather, but they create all that is needed for a wonderful day!
Brian told us that he didn’t usually do this route and hadn’t been trained. He was a good driver, but when we stopped at a lake he couldn’t tell me the name of the lake, and was not terribly informative overall
This excursion exceeded our expectations. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging and incredibly friendly. This region of Ireland is a must see!
