Tour af området, hvor fiktion "Inspector Montalbano" er sat. Er du klar til at opdage Vigata, Marinella og Montelusa? Vil du gå i de samme gader, hvor Montalbano undersøger? Med vores tur har du en filmferie! Med vores tur kan du besøge Montalbano Sicilien og opdage historie og kultur Ragusa, Scicli, Modica, Punta Secca, Donnalucata og Donnafugata Slot. Vi vil ledsage dig blandt de mest berømte monumenter, blandt fantastiske kirker og barokke paladser, vi vil krydse landskabet Iblea og ankomme til havet. Vi vil være i stand til at rådgive dig om de smukkeste typiske specialiteter og oplevelser at leve: Det vil være en uforglemmelig rejse!

Første stop ved "Castello di Donnafugata", som i fiktion er den lokale chef Don Balduccio Sinagra's bolig.
Vi fortsætter til Punta Secca (Marinella i fiktion) for at besøge, udefra, Montalbano-huset og i nærheden af sandstranden, hvor han svømmer.
Vi fortsætter til Donnalucata, hvor episoden "form af vand" for det meste er sat. Faktisk er promenaden i Donnalucata, som i fiktion kaldes Marinella, hovedscenariet i denne episode. Det bruges dog ofte i mange andre episoder af Inspektør Montalbano.
Herefter når vi den barokke landsby Scicli. Kort gåtur for at besøge det smukke baroue historiske centrum (Montelusa i fiktion), "Palazzo Comunale", som er Vigatas politistation i fiktion og "Palazzo Iacono", hovedkontoret for politiet.
Vi fortsætter mod Modica, hvis historiske centrum også er i barok stil. Den smukke trappe af Saint George's Cathedral var hovedpersonen i episoden "Tocco d'artista". Den smukke udsigt over byen, kirker og paladser i barok stil og de karakteristiske gyder er baggrunden for mange andre scener af fiktion. Et obligatorisk stop i slutningen af rundvisningen i det historiske centrum vil være Antica Cioccolateria Bonajuto, hvor det vil være muligt at smage den berømte og lækre Modica Chocolate i sine mange dufte.
Vi ender med besøg af den smukke Piazza Duomo i Ragusa Ibla, med sin barokke kirke San Giorgio, som repræsenterer hovedtorvet i Vigata, den imaginære landsby Montalbano. Visningen af Ibla med kuplen i den oplyste domkirke fremstår bag Montalbano i episoden En lysblade, når kommissæren, gæst fra udstederen af Vigata Rete Libera udsteder et interview. Katedralen i San Giorgio og pladsen i Ragusa Ibla vender tilbage i mange episoder af tv-serien. Når kommissæren stopper i det centrale torv eller i Madre di Vigata Kirke, beundrer vi den fantastiske barokke stil Ragusa Ibla, dens plads og Duomo. Kirken Santa Maria delle Scale, trappen og det storslåede panorama af Ragusa Ibla er baggrunden for en mugger i episoden "Gatto e Cardellino". Circolo di Conversazione, med udsigt over Piazza Duomo, er stedet, hvor Montalbano ofte bryder cabbasisi til læge Pasquano spillekort. Mange scener er filmet indenfor og uden for cirklen. I episoden "La luna di carta" går kommissæren ind i Clubs røgfyldte rum, blandt notater og rige mennesker i Vigata-spillekort, og møder den irriterede Pasquano, der med falsk høflighed og ironiske vittigheder svarer Montalbano's spørgsmål. Giardino Ibleo ligger ikke langt fra restauranten da Calogero. I Vigata bliver den kommunale have et elegant plejehjem, hvor Montalbano går til episoden La luna di carta. I de træbelagte haveveje møder kommissæren en gammel tyv, der viser en nøgle for at finde ud af, hvad han kan åbne.

We had a wonderful, enjoyable Montalbano tour with our guide, Giuseppe with Taxi Catania NCC. He was an excellent driver and knowledgeable about Montalbano filming destinations and each location! Now we will be able to revisit these beautiful destinations again as a memory and see them again on TV Montalbano! Thank you!
The Commissario Montalbano tour was conducted by Riccardo from Taxi Catania NCC. He was very knowledgeable about the series, but also Sicily in general and the significance of the locations used in the TV series. Highly recommended tour, with an excellent tour guide Riccardo who was very pleasant, eloquent and accommodating. The tour was even better than I had hoped, and we were very pleased. Excellent tour. Anyone that enjoyed the Montalbano television series should take this tour. Ricardo was friendly, polite, and fluent in English, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable about the places where the series was filmed.
Ricardo was an excellent knowledgable guide, couldn’t have been more helpful and considerate This trip is a must do for all Inspector Montalbano fans , the highlight being able to visit the actual film sets that are still in Scicli town hall which doubled as the police station

Excursions Sicily, private tour with Eduardo was fabulous. nothing was too much trouble. We didn't (as expected) take just external photographs of the police station and mafia boss' house, we went inside them for only 6 euros each! Outside Insp. Montalbano's house( and Enzo's restaurant) was fabulous and relatively quiet, a stroll on 'the' beach was most welcome. We visited Modica en route and sampled and bought some beautiful chocolate there. Well worth the visit. The car was immaculate and Eduardo's driving was fist class.
This was the most brilliant experience and a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday with my friends. Riccardo and Annalisa were the most thoughtful, attentive, interesting and informative guides and made sure we saw Montalbano’s house, ate at his table in the restaurant at Punta Secca and toured the police station in Scicli-even getting photos in his office ! It was so much more than we could’ve wished for and I highly recommend the trip. Not only did we see more of the Sicily but we learned so much about it too! Emblematic places of a cult series such as El Coimisario Montalbano. Too bad I was closing (apparently definitely) the restaurant Enzo a Mare location next door a few meters from the house, which is where Salvo used to have lunch with a good wine. Mur near there is Scili where the commissioner is.-
Our private taxi journey of more than 9 hours took us around all the major locations used in the TV series. Our driver Ricardo, was very knowledgeable both of the TV series and Sicilian life. In our journey we touched upon about every subject of modern Sicily as well as the history with Greek, Roman and Arab heritage. This tour is not just a change to experience the sets and locations used in the 1990s series, it's a chance to see inside Sicilian life. We thoroughly recommend it.
We had a superb day We booked a private tour for 3. Our guide Ricardo was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful especially in accommodating my elderly mother.
