An unforgettable off-the-beaten-path experience! The 2-day Off the Beaten Path Colca Canyon Trek was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Peru. If you're looking for something beyond the typical tourist route, this is the perfect adventure. Our guide, Honorio, made the experience truly exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, traditions, flora, and fauna of the Colca Valley. Throughout the trek, he shared fascinating stories about the local communities and made us appreciate the region on a much deeper level. His passion for his homeland is contagious. The trek itself is breathtaking. Walking through remote villages, ancient agricultural terraces, lush valleys, and dramatic canyon landscapes gave us an authentic glimpse of rural life that we would never have experienced on a standard tour. This tour is ideal for travelers who enjoy nature, hiking, and genuine cultural experiences rather than crowded viewpoints. The landscapes are spectacular, and the sense of tranquility is something we will never forget. A huge thank you to Honorio for making this adventure so memorable.

Awesome tour in the canyon with friendly local guide. Track is fine/good to hike, but intermediate fitness recommended. It was a nice experience with plenty to learn about the local culture, plants and life in the canyon. Definetly worth the money.

My friend and I chose the Colca Trek 2 days off the beaten path option, we were very happy. It was an amazing experience. Our guide Marcelo and driver Edgar were very helpful and kind. (y) We absolutely recommend this option as It offers the most authentic experiences with no tourists around which was very nice! :)

We booked the 2 day, one night Colca Canyon tour through this company and were very happy! Marcelo was our guide and he was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience so enjoyable as we didn’t have to think or worry about anything. While we didn’t book a private tour, it ended up just being the two of us. We hiked it “backwards” - having lunch and swimming in the oasis and then staying at Calibri lodge. The food was good and the stars at night were stunning. It was a challenging trek but so worth it. We also loved all the “extras”- stopping to see the volcanos and hot springs. We’re so glad we did this and had Marcelo as our guide!

Great experience in the Colca Canyon. We have booked for a private tour with the night at Colca Lodge. The hotel is really cozy and charming, the tour guide Honorio was very kind and knowledge.

We booked the two-day Colca Canyon tour with overnight stay at the Colibri Lodge directly with the agency. By staying there we made the tour in the opposite direction, which is a bit more strenuous. It was a great experience and we would recommend it without restriction! Our guide Paul made an extreme effort from the meeting the day before to the conclusion, giving us a great insight into Peruvian culture and nature in the Colca Canyon. On the first day we start at 03:00 from the main square in Arequipa, then start the journey with a minibus. First stop is at breakfast on the way. Along the way you also stop at a Condor viewpoint where we could admire an animal up close. Then we continue to Cabanaconde, the starting point for the tour. It goes straight down steeply to the Sengalle Oasis, where we could enjoy some time relaxing by the pool of the restaurant for lunch in the best weather. It was surprisingly hot in the valley itself, so we really enjoyed the cooling down. The 350m ascent afterwards on the way to Colibri Lodge in the heat was the toughest part of the tour for us. There we ate a delicious dinner and fell into bed after the long day in the beautiful rooms there. On the second day it starts again early between 3:00 and 4:00. The 1,200 meters ascent back towards Cabanaconde awaits you, but these were easy to master in the pleasantly cool temperatures in the morning hours. In Cabanaconde you arrive at about 7 am to have breakfast there. By bus we will then head back to the return route, where we stopped at the hot springs, over a lunch with buffet and in a national park with alpacas and llamas. All in all two very tiring days and nothing for morning muffle, but with unique memories and great organization! Thanks to Paul and Peroi Voyage Tours

We did a great 2 day hiking in the Colca Canyon. It was a nice time with Honorio, he was very funny and patient. The tour Itself was not as cheap as the offered by other trip companies but we got what we paid for. I recommend this company!

Wonderful experience!!! Thank you, Perou voyage!! The operator was always quick to respond via whatsapp and email. The briefing in the previous day was helpful and we were able to ask questions about the trekking, as well as, meet our guide. The operator was able to change the typical itinerary, where you usually sleep in the oásis in Sangalle. We preferred to sleep in Pousada da Glória, so they changed the itinerary for us which was super cool. We had a lovely dinner there and slept well. Our guide was amazing!! :D Onorio :D it was a tough hike for us so it was Perfect for us to have someone Kind, with a sense of humor and someone Who could push us and be firm. The driver and other guides that shared our van were also very nice people. The food was really good and yeah, all in all, we highly recommend this 2 day trek if you're up for a challenge and be amazed by the beauty of the colca canyon <3

Honorio was a great guide, he explains very well all about the Colca Canyon. When we booked the tour, Evelyn explains us were going to have an expert french speaking guide who knows everything about the Colca! We spent a nice one day tour in the Colca. Merci!
