Cocora Valley og Santa Rita vandfaldstur
Beskrivelse
Oplev Cocora-dalen med alle dens kunstige og naturlige attraktioner, inklusive en ridetur til floden med et lille vandfald (du kan ride uden erfaring). Derudover kan du opleve den sande skønhed i dalene og vokspalmeudsigtspunkter, sammen med dets smukke 360-graders landskaber og attraktioner, såsom det store Cocora-skilt. Efter så meget nydelse, intet bedre end den typiske frokost (ris, salat, kæmpe patacón med ørred, hogao og limonade). Hvis du ikke kan lide fisk, kan du erstatte den med oksekød, kyllingekotelet eller svinebøf (alt efter kødet kan retten have variationer). Tag ud på et besøg til Santa Rita-vandfaldet, hvor du kan besøge en smuk, drømmende ejendom og dens haver, før du begynder resten af vandreturen, der passerer gennem de gamle jernbanetunneler, naturskoven, campingpladslandskaberne og hængebroerne. Når du når vandfaldet, vil du have et omklædningsområde, så du kan svømme.

Rejseplan
Startende fra Salento, Quindíos faderkommune, tager vi afsted til Cocora-dalen i jeep willys transport i cirka 20 til 25 minutter, ledsaget af den lokale guide.
Vi lavede en smuk tur gennem palmernes dal og udsigtspunkterne for vokspalmer i Colombia og området ved begyndelsen af bjerget.
Ridetur på cirka 30 minutter (valgfrit) fra esperanza-stalden til mini-naturskoven og passerer forbi floden, der danner et lille vandfald.
Typisk Salento frokost (ris, bønner eller dagens korn, dagens kød, salat eller limonade) eller combo med kæmpe patacon ørred, svinekød eller kylling med salat, ris og limonade.
Besøg på Santa Rita-gården, som i en rundvisnings-type vil lade os se et 17 meter vandfald, som vi kan få adgang til, en naturlig pool, (huler og tunneler valgfri)

We went on the tour with Nicolas and were amazed by the wax palms. When you stop for a little coffee, make sure to try the cake with guava and cheese!

Nicholas my tour guide was absolutely fantastic. Whatever I needed/wanted, he was there for it, and went at whatever pace worked for me. 100% awesome.
Loved this tour, it had everything we wanted. Daniel was an excellent guide and pointed out a lot of things we would've missed about plants, nature, native birds, and the history. The horse back riding was a great experience but in the short side, there are other tours that feature more of that if you want a longer house back riding experience. The views from the lookout of the cocora valley are stunning. You will see nature in its splendor as well as all the photo op spots (the hand, wings, cocora valley sign, etc). There's also the option of a seeing a bigger waterfall or smaller one. We chose the one big one. The hike to get there was steep and challenging so be forewarned. We made it and it was worth the effort. Bonus, this cute dog that lives on the area will walk up with you and guide you to the spot. Overall great experience and I would recommend.
This was a great tour! Our guide Dani was so kind and informative. We learned a lot and had a great day of adventures. I enjoyed having a guide to handle everything even though it is possible to go on your own. He taught us a lot of things I wouldn't otherwise know about the area. Great experience!
The tour was a great way to experience the Cocora Valley. I really enjoyed being able to be in the valley before large amounts of people arrived for the day. Would definitely recommend.
