Alt dit udstyr og forsyninger transporteres af portører, og en kok tilbereder alle dine måltider. I modsætning til Marangu-ruten, hvor du sover i hytter, sover du på Machame i telte (telte er inkluderet), og portørerne lægger teltet op for dig. Måltider serveres i et middagstelt eller på et tæppe udenfor. Dette gør Machame, der benævnes "Whisky-ruten", bedre egnet til mere eventyrlystne vandrere, og det belønner dig også med bedre udsigt end andre ruter. Fra sene eftermiddags solnedgange i Shira til de tåge afsløringer af Kibos store Barranco-mur tilbyder Machame-ruten den spunky vandrere et kontinuerligt naturskønt diasshow.

I had such a positive experience on our Kilimanjaro trip. The boys went above and beyond to make everything as comfortable as possible, and the attention to detail was honestly spot on. They were friendly, professional and incredibly attentive throughout the whole trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better team!! Highly recommend!
From the very beginning there no doubt Zara tours are extremely professional and kind people. We were treated far better than what we hoped for!! The first 4 days a walk were very easy while the 5th day was incredibly difficult!

The experience with Zara Tours has been excellent. We have felt great support from the beginning and you feel part of a team. Our guide John and the second guide Justin were very understanding with us and facilitated and enriched the experience a lot. We did the Machame route in 6 days. It is intense, but certainly with the advice they give you and the good follow-up, it has been a unique experience that the whole group values as excellent. Thank you!

Very good experience and very good team. John has a lot of experience and knowledfe toshare and walking with Justin was very enjoyable and fun. The porters and cook team were also great and they make a big effort on the whole process. Couldn't have done it without them!

It was a great experience. Zara have the expertise and the infrastructure other companies clearly don’t have up in the mountain. Their experience really makes the difference in extreme situations you can encounter during the route.
