City of Side: Electric Catamaran Cruise & Lunch & Vandfald

Overall I enjoyed my day out, the Electric Catamaran was so quite & a real joy, Seleukia was very interesting & the photo stop viewing down from the mountains toward the Green Lake were stunning. It was a beautiful October day. There were 29 people on the tour & I was the only one from the UK. Our tour guide Yucel tried his best to keep me informed, but I was left stranded for an hour after the Mosque visit, all ended well. Lunch was poor at 'Globals Restoran' the waiters came around with Coffees' & Ice creams, then requested payment in euros before you left as these were classed as extras. (most thought that this was part of the lunch) The nearest Travel shop to my hotel wanted 60 euros for this excursion, I declined & booked this trip for £19.75 via Paypal through the Tripadvisor website while at my hotel in Side,Turkey.

The day was very nice and guides were good but they did have some odd English at times. It didn't visit the Manavgat mosque as advertised, Manavgat falls ok, Seleukia ruins were great with lovely views, Manavgat dam was good, lunch on the Green lakeside was nice. The trip on the lake was good but for some reason some people knew to bring their swimming gear and others not (we didn't know). We did visit an little old mosque beside the restaurant which wasn't on the itinerary and not particularly interesting. One of the highlights was picking fresh figs and pomegranates from the trees as we walked from the mosque to the restaurant. Nice trip overall but need to be correctly described.

Great excursion with lots of information and very nice tour guide. Be sure to use the bathing breaks, in the reservoir to bathe is wonderful. Excellent value for money.

We took the excursion on 14/08. I loved the excursion, as well as my 10-year-old daughter. Everything is as described. The Guide spoke German and English very well. I saw in some comments that the stops were short, but mostly long enough to make the necessary photos. Except maybe for lunch 15 minutes more would have been welcome. I know they have to respect the timing, maybe an earlier Check-out in the morning should allow the extra 15 minutes... When the first stop came back, people wanted to change places, because when they boarded the bus at the beginning of the journey some families could not sit together. The Guide wanted us to always sit in the same seat so we wouldn't waste time at every stop. I understand both sides, maybe the Guide could specify this when entering the bus and, as far as possible, try to guide people on the bus so that families can sit together (just a suggestion to avoid frustration of some people;-) ). Otherwise, everything was perfect, it was very fun, despite the big heat, nice little game ... we threw water at each bus crossing (bus without windows). The small dive in the lake was also very appreciable. The Guide had a lot of humor, it was really fun. We loved...

We had amazing time the tour guide Ouz can was brilliant. I would’ve only liked if we could actually gone closer to waterfall (to dip our feet).

Bog standard whistle stop tour a few interesting highlights but the lake itself is just a massive reservoir. Feel like a waste of valuable time if I'm to be brutally honest wish I'd just booked the green canyon tour instead.

Bus cabrio- was terrible weather was definetly not appropriate to have all the "windows" down because it was way to windy and got the headache even between the tour. Tour guide - absouletly terrible, only talked german only few words in english The tour itself was really dull and even the stops were either 5 min or every 5 mins so we couldnt even look where we stopped then again was stoping for every unnecesary thing. The tour was longerwhich we expected but there were not planned stops so because of that it took even longer this itself probably wouldnt be such a problem if the stops were intresting at all. Because of that stops we had to take a taxi to hotel because it was just to much. Was expecting to see 3/4 things but instead we took a stop st every possible restourant or even orange plantage which was not planned. Even after 20 min stop there we countined for 1 min to stop again on unplanned stop. The boat trip was as well extendend beyond neccesary even the driver was doing some dangerous manevours closing to very short distance to other ship even tho the lake was really huge. I forgot even the pickup was 15 minutes late. So to summrize all that this expiriance was not enyojable at all. Wouldnt reccomend to anyone. I apolgise for grammar mistakes.

We paid like £18 each for this trip and it was AMAZING!! Worth every penny and so affordable Started the day with visiting a mosque we where picked up by a tour bus there was about 25 other people, then headed to Manavagat waterfall, then to the old city lots of old ruins, then to a small cafe, a massive dam, then headed to green canyon and a boat trip, then lunch by the water as in photo. We headed back and on the way stopped at a orange farm and ate sweet sweet oranges then dropped back to the hotel The tour guide spoke English and was very friendly There was also a photographer with us, snapped lots of great pics, followed us around. We paid £25 for about 1000 photos he put on a USB for us Defo book!

Really great trip! Hotel pickup and excursion program exactly as described, nice and comfortable airconditioned van, great guide (Achmed) who was very knowledgeable about pretty much everything we saw, as well as being really funny :)
