I 2010 blev vores by anerkendt af UNESCO som et ikonisk samfund inden for Middelhavskosten, såvel som en af de immaterielle kulturarv. Chefchaouen er så meget mere end blot blå huse. Oplev, hvordan byen smager på denne utrolige madtur. Vi henter dig fra dit hotel. Vi vil udforske de ikoniske blå gader, hvor du vil være i stand til at tage nogle utrolige billeder og opdage de bedste steder at smage Marokkos køkken. Undervejs stopper vi ved op til fem forskellige steder for at prøve nogle typiske fødevarer såsom marokkanske donuts (sfenj), marokkansk te og gedeost. Vi tager på rundtur i Chefchaouen, og efter at have smagt flere forskellige snacks, gør vi et sidste stop på en traditionel restaurant, hvor du blandt mange andre vil prøve retter som couscous, tajine og zaalouk. Hvilken bedre måde at opdage landets kultur og køkken?

Hicham, was really amazing. A local that was versed with the corners of the street as well as the local eatery. It was one amazing experience
Fouad was a great guide. He came to pick us up at our accommodation and he was friendly and welcoming. Not only did we taste delicious cheese, bread and sweet treats but also learned about Chefchaouen, including it's history, where to buy items at shops locals also go to and got a wealth of tips and information about this very interesting and stunning place. We ended our tour at a fantastic restaurant, which is certainly a hidden gem. We learned a lot during our tour, and tasted some great food and had overall a great time.

Abdul met us at our Riad and took us for a stroll (Chefchaouen has many ups & downs). We started with fresh squeezed orange juice and before we continued, we each got a bottle of water. We headed outside the Medina and into new Chefchaouen past the cemetery where the town’s founder was buried. Our next stop was for some wonderful soup before stopping for some dates, figs and goat cheese. We then went to a restaurant we we sampled goat cheese with date honey & quince jam, then 5 types of vegetables and three tajines before finishing with a goat’s milk yogurt (yum!!). Gelato finished the evening’s sampling.
