A wonderful experience! Fantastic scenery! Veronica is a very knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly guide. She was proactive & flexible, reaching out to change the time of our excursion due to the weather forecast. Also gave us great advice as to her favorite cheeses & chocolates, which we used for purchasing later in our trip.
My daughter and I completed this tour with Weronica and loved it… the views, the company, and of course the cheeses and chocolates!
Weronika was wonderful, so much fun and knowledgeable. She is very helpful while making plans for the tour specially when there is concern about the weather. She goes above and beyond and helps you with local plan suggestions. Communication with her is excellent! I strongly recommend her for your next tour.
Weronika is a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We enjoyed being with her. She explained the cheese areas of Switzerland and gave us a lot of information on the cows, cheese production and various types of cheese. The views were spectacular, even though a bit rainy and foggy. Definitely recommend.
Weronika (pronounced like Veronica) was very enthusiastic while being comfortable to be around. She had an extensive knowledge of region, having grown up in the village just below where we hiked. It was an easy stroll with some incline to it, but with two bad knees, I was able to do it just fine because she went at our pace. After the walk, we had a very nice cheese and chocolate experience with great explanations of the background/heritage behind all of the offerings. She went even further than the tour description by giving us a really great plan for the next couple of days with caveats for the weather. Her advice ended up resulting in additional great experiences for us.
We had such an incredible experience with Weronica and her dog.....both are equally sweet! Not only was the hike beautiful but she explained and taught us so much. Due to her tips for the Grindelwald/Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen/Wengen area we changed our entire agenda and are so happy we did so. This was an amazing trip and much was due to her suggestions. And we can't forget the cheese and chocolates which were delicious!
Such a wonderful experience!!!! Beautiful trip up the mountain and Weronika could not have been a more pleasant guide. She was very knowledgeable and we loved every moment of our time with her. The cheese and chocolate were excellent!. The weather could have been a bit better, but it certainly did not ruin our time with her.
What a fabulous and informative experience! The knowledge that Weronika shared about the cows and mountains was amazing. We were lucky enough to see the cows, as they weren't that far up the mountain the week before. And the CHEESE!! So good. Well worth the money.
The experience was very fun! The cheese and chocolate were very delicious and definitely added so much to the trip 😋 Veronika is very nice, attentive, caring and insightful! I had so much fun with her and her beautiful dog ❤️ The destination is a MUST go! Highly recommended.

Weronika is a wonderful tour guide, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. It was just… a lot of money for what it was. Between the train rides and the tour fees, it was a $500 day for my wife and I for a short walk up the mountain and a plate of cheese and a sample of chocolate. After an hour and a half, we were nearly back to the train station to head back. Again, Weronika gave us great tips, good history, she was kind and helpful, but I wish we’d simply paid the train fees to Kleine Schiedegg and taken the 15 minute walk up on our own.
I am sorry to hear that tour hasn't meet your expectations. Cold weather in early season on high altitude was a bit unfortunate for us at that time, so I got impression from all the participants that speeding up the tour to don't keep you in cold and wind was a right idea. In the end our tour has been shortened for 16min (starting at 2:30pm, taking 4:44pm train down together, so our tour was 2:14min instead of 2:30min, if we want to go to details). Price of the tour including lunch, cheese and chocolate lesson and a guided tour is a one thing of course, but getting to the spectacular locations in high mountains is a separate matter. I would also wish that trains to those beautiful places would be cheaper. But for that we have a way around - deciding on any cheaper options like JungfrauPass, Berner Oberland Pass or Swiss Travel Pass, Half Fare etc. Those are recommended passes to not overpay for Swiss transportation, maybe for a next time
