This private day tour from Paris to Champagne was beyond amazing! From the stunning French countryside to the VIP treatment at renowned Champagne houses, every moment was perfection. Our guide was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the day unforgettable. The tastings were exceptional, and visiting a boutique family-run producer was a real highlight. I went on this tour with my family, and it was amazing. We started with classic French croissants that were delicious! Afterward, we visited the first Champagne house, which was stunning. We had our first tasting, and it was great. Later, we went to have lunch at another Champagne house! It was fantastic because we had a tasting that perfectly complemented our lunch. Finally, we ended up in another Champagne house where we tried three different types of champagne! In addition to this, we must say that our guide went above and beyond when it came to explaining everything to us about this wonderful region and wine in France! Honestly, I highly recommend this tour. It was amazing!

What an amazing experience we were provided ! We were picked up at our hotel with typical French croissants and a very confortable Mercedes van. We appreciated a high quality of service: the kindness of the guide, bottles of mineral water at our disposal in the vehicle and a French music playlist (I love Edith Piaf). During the day, we had the chance to visit 3 very different Champagne houses from big renowned brands to small producers, we had a lunch at a winemaker's table with delicious typical food paired with fine Champagnes and had a surprise stop in Hautvillers (Dom Perignon's village) for a tasting with a stunning view. We also appreciated the drop-off at the hotel and our guide who was very knowledgeable, funny and made our day so incredible. Thank you for such a great experience and we hope to come back to France and try the Loire Valley wine tour :)

We spend the best day with our guide in Champagne. The all day was planned perfectly; we visited a famous house in the morning, had lunch at a winemaker’s table and finally we visited a cooperative. The day was full of nice surprises and my friends and I enjoyed every minutes of this bubbly day. Thank you My Wine Days

This was THE BEST day trip and our guide Simone was FANTASTIC!!!!!! We had the most delicious lunch made by Lea at her Champagne house called Julien Chopin. The champagnes were DIVINE and the food so so so good!!!! We visited three houses and the drive and tours were just perfect!!!! I highly recommend this company and this guide. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

I booked a trip to the Champagne region thru Viator. After confirming pick up times and details via phone the day before, Wine Passport showed up over an hour late and didn't have a proper seat for me in the van. The vehicle was ENTIRELY FULL and they had a small flip down seat in between the driver and the front seat passenger and I was told "The van is very full today, I hope this is ok." It wasn't ok with me for a 2 hour drive to Champagne and because I had paid just as much as anyone else in the van and didn't have a proper seat or safety belt. I elected not to go on the tour because the seating wasn't acceptable (or safe) and the guide apologized for the lateness and the less than ideal seating and told me he'd "try" to get the operator to refund me but he wasn't optimistic. What was worse than the disappointment of the lateness and lack of a real seat in the vehicle was when I raised the issue with Viator to try and get a refund after the operator never returned my call is that the operator lied about almost every detail. About the time communicated for pick up, about the actual arrival time of pickup, about the seating situation they offered, and even told them I got into the van and was "unpleasant with the guide and then got out." which was totally untrue as I never even got in the vehicle. Miscommunications and misunderstandings happen, especially in different cultures - but lying to make a case against not refunding a fee for a tour you never gave is unacceptable anywhere. If you feel justified in not refunding, why lie? What do you lose by refunding for a tour that was never taken? The good thing is Viator took care of me and refunded but it still stings to know these guys are that dishonest and don't care because they know that tourists either wont complain and deal with it or will need to leave the country and why should they bother? Be aware when booking with these operators and get all terms in writing. If terms dont meet what booking promised, take pictures and save all correspondence, as they'll lie and call you "unpleasant" and keep your money.
Dear Emily, Greetings from Wine Passport! While we appreciate detailed reviews such as yours, we really feel sorry about how you feel about us. The announced pick up time was 8, it has been confirm to you 24hrs before the tour as we do all the time. Our guide arrive at 8.10, only 10min late due to heavy traffic, but not an hour late as mentionned. And they were on time at 10h for the visit at Moët & Chandon, which is at least an 1h45 min drive! While we always do our best to be on time, we cannot avoid unexpected traffic. Our Mercedes Vito van was indeed already occupied by a group of 7 people, but the total occupancy of our vans is 9 people (8 passengers + 1 driver), with 9 real seats and a safety belt for everyone (this is the law), it is the first time someone complains about it and every tour company in France have similar vehicles. We take every customer complaint very seriously but the decision of not taking the tour was yours. All the places we go to have 48h cancellation policy and charge us for last minute cancellation, this is why we cannot refund a tour that wasn’t taken. Especially since it was the high season and we had plenty of customers who would have been very happy to take your seat! About your last point, we REALLY care about EVERY customer and we always invite them to leave reviews, especially since a lot of them call us back to get on board of our other tours!
