Guide was very knowledgeable and also patient. Allowed us take our time at various historic locations
City tour was just ok. Guide was very good but overpriced for this tour as there simply not many sights to see.
Vernie was a good guide, we had a driver so the two of us could just jump out and then jump back in (traffic is crazy). It was right before the holiday weekend but we got into all the stops. It was informative; I learned some of the history of Cebu/the Philippines. FYI: the reason for the dress code is because you can't get into the church in shorts or a tank top, so dress accordingly.
Unfortunately, the weather was fine, but the coordinator, Chimi, showed me a great guide, and I had great memories. They gave us Recommendations for food and took a lot of pictures, and the drivers were so kind and enjoyed the trip.
The guide was fluent in our language, Japanese, and his stories and jokes were all good. We were able to learn a lot about the country and the area
This tour was a wonderful and memorable eye-opening experience. I only took the half-day tour since I booked it for the day my flight arrived; it still felt like a full-day experience! I highly recommend taking the Department of Tourism option as it gives you a personalised experience and you get a more thorough understanding of the history of Cebu compared to just reading information from exhibit labels. I got matched with Michelle and she was highly knowledgeable and also very personable. She answered questions with enthusiasm and she was genuinely attentive to what I was hoping to get out of the tour. Even though the tour had an itinerary it didn't feel at all like an 'on-rails' experience. The tour guide being a local really adds to the experience. You can discuss with them not only the history of Cebu, but also current affairs, the landmarks of the city, the developments over time, and notable events, among other things.
Really an interesting historic tour. From the foundation of independent Islands under Spanish colonization to where the Philippines are today was very intereatimg
Seen a lot of different locations quickly. Very scenic places. Transportation was on point. Guide quickly responds.
Had an exciting and fun Cebu city day tour with our tour buddy Chen. Would certainly recommend this tour experience..
Angelica was excellent & brought to tour to life with her excellent commentary about the various sites we visited. Well worth the extra to have a DoT guide than simply a driver.
