Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or looking for a unique private or work event, this experience was unforgettable from start to finish. Marc made my family feel instantly welcome and created such a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Barcelona’s history and culture, and he explained everything in a way that was engaging, easy to follow, and calming throughout the experience. The evening started naturally with conversation, fresh pan con tomate, white wine, and getting to know each other before moving into the paella cooking itself. Every part felt authentic rather than touristy, especially being in a quieter area outside the busy downtown crowds. The paella was absolutely incredible, and the entire experience felt personal, immersive, and genuinely special. Marc also offers wine tastings featuring local Catalan wines, which sounds like an amazing addition to the experience. Great food, great conversation, and memories our family will keep forever. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Barcelona.

This was a great time. we learned a lot while having fun. Our chef made us feel right at home. Loved the industrial space which was In a residential area.

Marc was very kind and knowledgeable! We all had a wonderful time making paella, learning about the dish and its history. The kitchen space was very cool and the final dish was delicious! Can’t wait to make it back at home!

They’ll cancel on you at the very last minute, which seems to be a pattern for f Viator tour guides. I’ve had 3 of 4 tours canceled on my last two European trips. Don’t bother booking and working the schedule into your trip or getting excited about it because it will be canceled and your trip will be full of disappointment.

Even though Viator messed up the booking Marc took the time to help us find a place for dinner and handle the refund. If we had the time to reschedule we would. He was so accommodating and communicated with us the entire time. We will make it back and we will book again.

We had an excellent time with Marc learning how to cook paella. Learned a lot about Barcelona and Catalonia. Would highly recommend this fun experience!
