Disappointed

Super hot and crowded. Barley saw the room because there were so many people standing in the way. So hot and every room was like that, blue ticket. Cava was not good. We were disappointed and couldn’t wait to get out of there, but it was pretty but still just a house.

Too many people, no magic — disappointing for the price

Visit with Silver skip-the-line + glass of cava, in the evening. On paper everything seemed perfect, but the experience was disappointing. The main problem: far too many people to allow for a real visit. You are constantly carried along by the flow of visitors, without being able to stop to observe the architecture — the rooms are simply crowded. It was also very hot the evening we visited, which didn't help matters. The audio guides, although available in our language, do not allow for a pleasant family visit: it is impossible to hear each other with the ambient noise and the crowd. To top it all off, on the top floors, a private party was being held in an adjacent room, making the audio guide almost inaudible. As for the service, the glass of cava is served without a word, without even a "por favor" — you get the impression that you are bothering the staff rather than being welcomed. As for the interior decoration, it is as minimalist as possible: little furniture, with the spaces seeming above all optimized to move a maximum number of visitors through.

Worst Tourist Experience of My Life

I was really looking forward to visiting Casa Batlló, but unfortunately it turned out to be the worst tourist experience I’ve ever had. The building is undoubtedly beautiful, but we never had the chance to truly appreciate its architecture. There were simply far too many visitors inside. It felt less like visiting a masterpiece and more like being herded through the building like cattle. Every room was overcrowded, making it impossible to stop, admire the details, or enjoy the atmosphere. To make matters worse, it was extremely hot inside. Combined with the crowds, it made the whole experience very uncomfortable. I’ve uploaded photos and videos to show just how packed it was. In my opinion, the management is allowing far too many people in at the same time. While this may maximize ticket sales, it completely ruins the visitor experience. Honestly, the exterior façade is the real masterpiece. You can admire it for free from the street, and I don’t think it’s worth paying such an expensive entrance fee to see so little of the interior under these conditions. It’s a real shame because the building deserves much better. I sincerely hope they reduce the number of visitors admitted at one time so future guests can experience Casa Batlló as it should be experienced.

Horrible

My favorite visit to Barcelona on every trip…. What a joy to discover that a night tour was there! Upon arrival, horrible, crowded, stifling heat, no organization, a huge disappointment! I will not come back at all. Early morning is a great memory, but here, other than lining their pockets and not caring at all, there is nothing else to say.

Evening visit with additional dimension

The evening visit of Casa Batllo (starting 8.30pm) gives an additional dimension to the impressive building. With the 'platinum' ticket you get easier access (because it is busy) and you start with an impression of the inspirations of Gaudi (short tour in basement with special lighting). This ticket also allows you to visit the Battlo family apartment (until recently not accessible), enjoy a glass of cava with a view of the salons on Passeig de Gracia (although 'enjoyment' is relative in the crowds). The audio guide (available in Dutch) is very logical to use and offers added value. 'Gold' and 'Platinum' visits end in 'The Box': a whirling light spectacle that completely absorbs you and draws you into Casa Battlo and the world of Gaudi. Keep in mind that a lot of stairs have to be climbed!

Stunning, but too crowded

We visited the Casa Battlo at 21:00 on a wednesday in may, 2026. Prior to arriving we had to download the app (yes, yet another app and I already have 500+ apps on my phone), to present the QR code for the tickets (25€ each). We had opted in for a "regular" blue tour, that did not include the private recidence appartment, nor the balcony and rooftop. But it included a glass of cava at the 1st floor, a 3D experience at the exit and a nice audioguide that was very helpful. As we progressed on our tour it became evident that way too many people were pushed into this small but absolutely stunning building. At some point the app encouraged us to buy the extra options mentioned above. One of them was unfortunately closed (the balcony) and although I - unknowingly - bought it, no one could help resolve this little issue. The next day I ended up sending countles mails to customer service who more or less failed to understand the matter and at the end I had to dispute the payment through an apple pay refund. Another isse was that the points we collected along the tour by completing small quizzes in the app turned out to be useless, as the museum shop where they could be redeemed while purchasing other items was closed. So beware of unexpected surprises when you visit on the evening tours. But all in all we're happy that we went inside, and along with the visits at Casa Milá (la Pedrera), Park Guell and Sagrada Familia we have completed our Gaudi experience. Highly recommended.

: Magical Night Experience at Casa Batlló

Visiting Casa Batlló at night during the “A Winter Night” experience was truly magical. The atmosphere was completely different from a daytime visit, with beautiful lighting, music, and a calm ambiance that made the entire experience feel very special. The lighting throughout the house highlighted the incredible details of the architecture and design. Every room felt like a work of art, and seeing the famous curves, colors, and stained glass illuminated at night made it even more impressive. The audio guide was very informative and helped explain the inspiration behind the design and the story of the house. It made the visit both enjoyable and educational. Walking through the house at night felt immersive and unique, almost like stepping into a dream created by Gaudí. The rooftop area was also stunning, with the city lights adding to the overall atmosphere.

Terrible because had to pay 2 and loose time of my tour and trip!

Don’t book on trip advisor they can’t find tickets end up paying twice after long wait and stating they don’t work with trip advisor-having to loose time and pay again after fully paid on TripAdvisor !

Surreal

Casa Batlló is a surreal masterpiece! Gaudí's attention to detail is mind-blowing—it feels like walking through a fairy tale. The facade is iconic, but the interior is where the magic really happens, especially with the immersive audio guide that explains the symbolism of the 'House of Bones.' The rooftop with the dragon-back design is the perfect finishing touch. It’s a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it for a unique Barcelona experience.

Impressive visit in an extraordinary architecture

Impressive and well organized visit. The audio guide allows you to move through the house making a real journey through time. The architecture of gaudi is absolutely extraordinary and this type of visit allows you to experience it in the best way. The cocktail included in the price paid, however, was absolutely undrinkable.
