Den eneste Carrara-marmortur, der giver dig mulighed for at komme ind i en rigtig hule. Dejligt at møde dig! Vi er chauffører og rejseledere... vi vil gerne vise dig en skjult perle af Toscana! Jeg henter dig med min professionelle varevogn fra området Lucca eller Pisa, og jeg bringer dig op på Carrara-bjerget. Vi når hulen, og vi hopper i en 4x4 Jeep, der kan køre os indenfor. En professionel rejseguide vil forklare dig alt om historien om dette legendariske sted: ikke kun hvordan de fungerer, og de udvinder marmoren, men også hvordan de producerer en speciel vin, eller hvordan man genkender en ægte Carrara-marmor fra en falsk. I slutningen af turen kommer vi ud fra grotten, og jeg kører dig op i den lille landsby Colonnata: et meget lille og autentisk sted, der er berømt for en meget velsmagende slags salami... "lardo di colonnata"! Jeg kan bringe dig i den bedste fødevarebutik for at købe et stykke svinefedt eller prøve at bestille en lokal restaurant til en smagning! En tur uden for den slagne vej :)

Du vil have den unikke mulighed for at besøge en ægte Carrara Marble Cave. Dette er den eneste tur, der giver dig mulighed for at komme ind i en hule, hvor de stadig nu udvinder ren marmor.
Vi besøger den lille landsby Colonnata: stedet, hvor "lardo" (en meget velsmagende slags salami) bliver lavet. Panoramaterrassen vil få dig til at nyde en fantastisk udsigt over hulerne i Carrara Marble. Også den resterende 1 time er for rejsetid 30 minutters kørsel udgående og 30 minutters kørsel på retur

This was such an interesting tour. It was well run. Besides the marble cave tour, we had a good lunch (paid for separately) of lardo. I recommend this tour.
This was a very unique experience that our group of 7 really enjoyed. We had an amazing tour guide -Raffaele- who provided us with so much information. Our visit to Colonnata was extra special. It’s a sweet little town that we are glad we didn’t miss. A great way to spend a day in the Lucca area. Highly recommended!
What a great day. We saw the countryside, toured inside the Carrara mine and had a fun lunch. Our guide was amazing and went out of his way for us at every turn. He even brought my husband his cane which he had left in the car. We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in marble or just how the mining process works.
Our experience with Viator was excellent. From preliminary details, communicating on text, picking us up and taking us on the journey were all flawless. In addition to taking us to the marble tour, Marco took us to an amazing lunch at a very local restaurant with some of the top food in Italy so far!!
Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The marble cave wad extremely interesting. Our drive was beautiful and lunch with local delicacies was delicious and the view breathtaking.

An excursion of a lifetime! Our new friend, Thomaso, our driver and guide, was informational and engaging! Everything from the start was seamless. The drive over seemed to take very little time because he engaged with all of the passengers on the tour. Once we arrived at Carrara, we took a 4 wheel drive into the cave. At that point Francesca , one of the members of the family who mine the marble, gave an amazing discussion of the process required to extract huge blocks of marble from the only internal mines in Carrara. After the tour we drove up to the city of Colonnada. We enjoyed a fun luncheon with lardo, meats, wine and bread. A fantastic day that we all highly recommend.

Our driver Marco was super! On time, friendly, very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English. We totally enjoyed the ride to Carrara Quarry. We stopped for a snack of Lardo in Colonatta that was really fun and interesting.

Fantastic trip and most enjoyable! The guide was very curteous and well informed and had great ideas on engaging us with the other tour members . It was a small party and the executive transporter certainly not a van as described!. The internal trip in the Carrara mine was part of a larger tour, but that all went seamlessly and was very informative - Overall a great experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this guide
