We requested a full refund. We went down to where they told us to get the ferry over to capri and the ticket booths had no idea about our ferry tickets. I also felt the tour headline was misleading and included tickets to the blue grotto. I found out after I made the purchase in full that the tickets to that were not included in the expensive price. I was informed and willing to overlook, but now that we couldn’t even get the ferry over? Seemed very unorganized. When I contacted the tour guide about not being able to find our ferry tickets, she responded very rudely, that it was our fault because they sent me the tickets and that we should respect other people’s work. None of the company’s, including the right one, new what I was talking about. Frustrating! Another couple went through the same thing. So it wasn’t just me. The tour guide made it seem like it was our fault and was unempathetic or even tried to fix the situation. We were really looking forward to this part of our trip, since it was one of the last days. Figured this would be the Perfect way to end it. Haven’t experienced this with any other viator trips and have spent a pretty penny booking through them. I request a full refund for this one. We’ll see how the company handles this situation, as to whether I book anything else with them in the future or recommend them.
Dear Guest, We would like to inform you that we have asked the Ferry Company to provide us with an official statement regarding your complaint. We have obtained such a statement and have added it to the entire documentation. The Ferry Company was very outraged, as were we, by your untrue statements considered to be damaging to the image of both of us. The Ferry Company has confirmed that the tickets in your possession (which we also delivered to you through Viator Customer Care) are regular, as they are every day that we run this Tour. The Ferry Company also confirmed that you did not pick up your boarding passes, simply because you did not show up at check-in. The Ferry Company did not deny anyone boarding for the 9:15 am Ferry on July 24th and did not let any family with children ashore. Now, not wanting to participate in the Tour is a free choice, as is deciding whether or not to buy it, since it is a free market. This is without denigrating the work of others. If you wanted a refund, you could have notified us in good time that you no longer wanted to take the tour, and we certainly would have found a solution to meet your needs, although the experience is not refundable. But after arranging everything, from the Ferry to the Boat and the Minibus for the island tour and with the tour guide that was waiting for you under 42 degrees Celsius, to ask for a refund with what appears to be a form of blackmail and mostly with false statements, besides being outrageous, is also considered a serious matter in our Country. Wonderful tour guide with so much knowledge. Beautiful scenery!! Great boat ride. Getting right up and close to different parts of Capri. The Blue Grotto was closed due to rough weather but we got to see another grotto and see the beautiful colour of the water and coral. Great spot for lunch with delicious food. Thank you for a wonderful day!!!
