Canyoning Day Trip fra Edinburgh

My teen and I had a fantastic time. She said it was her favorite part of the trip. We are not an athletic family so the trip was a bit outside our comfort zone but it was thrilling and we felt accomplished afterwards. Our guide, Ross, was fantastic and we felt safe and in good hands the whole time. The stop after in the village for sandwiches and hot chocolate was perfect! It was a nice excursion away from all the tourists and castles. We loved it!

This was the highlight of our trip! From the friendly staff to the adventure itself everything was planned perfectly ! Fit for people off all abilities and they tailored their methods for this also, I cannot thank the team enough for been accommodating and all round perfect ! I would 100% do this trip again tomorrow ! 100% worth doing and a MUST DO if you visit Edinburgh, PERIOD !

What an amazing day! Our tour guide, Mikey, took our family of four through Dollar Glen and we had an absolute blast! Mickey was very skilled, patient, fun, and a genuinely nice person. This was the first time canyoning for us and while we thought we would enjoy it we weren’t sure – and because of this experience I’m certain we will be looking for our next opportunity! Intrepidus Outdoors was responsive, professional, communicative, and supportive. We also felt safe the entire time, the quality gear used and Mikey's safety focus was apparent. We highly recommend the company, Mickey as a guide, and very definitely canyoning!

I went canyoning with Intrepidus Outdoors for the first time and it was an incredible experience! Basically you are getting down the mountain through the water- sliding down waterfalls, abseiling, zip lines and trekking through the shallow parts with your adrenaline pumping the entire time. Ross is the best guide with years of experience! I absolutely go canyoning again! Intrepidus Outdoors is in Edinburgh and they drive your group to the canyon; we went to Dollar Canyon. The company also does coastering, kayaking, mountain biking and tours that give back to special communities in Scotland. Thanks Intrepidus for making it so easy to book. Wonderful time!!

Our stag party had the absolute best time canyoning — what an unforgettable adventure! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, exhilarating, and full of laughs. The real highlight, though, was our instructor Mikey. He was energetic, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. His encouragement and sense of humor kept everyone hyped up and feeling confident, even when we were stepping out of our comfort zones. The jumps, slides, and rappelling were the perfect mix of thrill and fun, and Mikey made sure everyone felt safe while still pushing us to enjoy the adrenaline. It was the perfect way to celebrate, and we’re still buzzing from the experience. Highly recommend this to any group looking for an epic adventure — and if you get Mikey, you’re in for an even better treat!

Just back from an Edinburgh Stag do where the main activity was the day's Canyoning at Dollar Glen. It exceeded expectations and had many different elements to overcome from Slides into the Abyss, abseiling down a waterfall and jumping into plunge pools. An Adrenaline fulled experience for all of the party between the ages of 20 and 50. Peter and Ross added so much value to the event and really did all they could to make this experience one to remember. Thank you for a well run canyoning trek and a great day out.

This adventure was more than I could have expected and asked for! Quick drive to Dollar canyon and Ross got us all set up. I felt safe and informed the whole time. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we were happy and ready for canyoning. Water was cold (as expected) and the drops and jumps were so fun! Thank you for a fun day.

We had so much fun on this tour! I travel a lot and always try to do some form of adventure on my trips..this was one of the funniest excursions I’ve taken. Our guide Ross was wonderful! I can’t recommend this enough..it was definitely the highlight of our trip!

Absolutely amazing! Ross is the best. Experienced, patient (I'm always the slower one trailing at the end) great photography skills, awesome sense of humor. We lucked out and it was just the three of us girls on the tour. We ended up going until the end with zero regrets. He gave us the down low on the best places to dine and visit in Edinburgh as well. Definitely 10 out of 10 would do it again.

The experience was amazing. The guides (Pete and Mike) were super friendly and we had a lot of fun. They also took our photos and short videos. I met 4 other lovely ladies on the day. Also dropped us home. So nice!! Must do!
