What a wonderful and beautiful experience. Mateo, our guide, was excellent. Full of local knowledge and understanding of what we wanted. The driver Alberto was great as well. We opted to hike to the upper waterfall and it was well worth it. We were the only ones there! It definitely felt like a private experience. The water was so refreshing and being able to relax on a sunny rock made it such an amazing journey. The second/main waterfall was great as well. Thank you Mateo for such a great time explaining what was around us as well as the ins and outs of Cali. Thank you for treating us like we were family.

Mateo is an amazing local guide, full of wisdom about the city of Cali, the wildlife, natural resources and culture in the area. He picked us up via taxi cab, our driver was Alberto, equally amazing and friendly! Both gentlemen were kind, full of life and safety was a priority. The traffic can be crazy in Cali, but we had a pleasant riding experience with Alberto! He actually bought us a fry bread and a beer. Mateo took us to 2 beautiful waterfalls in a serene mountainside area next to the Ponce River where locals come to enjoy the beauty of nature and unwind. We hiked to the top waterfall with Mateo as our trusted guide, and he allowed us to enjoy the space solo. Since we went on a Thursday morning, it wasn't very crowded and we were able to enjoy the waterfall alone. It was a great delight to bask in the sun and cleanse in the falls. I am glad we went to the top first, as when we came down to the first fall, there were people there enjoying the water. We had an equal amount of fun with the locals, but it always nice to enjoy nature in solitude. Thank you Mateo and Alberto! When we return, we shall get up early for some bird watching. Mateo is also an experienced bird watcher. Wonderful experience and we would definitely do it again!

Great experience! Juan was such a nice guy and we talked about the history of Cali, Colombia. The waterfall was nothing less than beautiful and so peaceful. The second waterfall was closed off, so I didn’t get to see it. It was not Juan’s fault. I had traditional snacks from the locals. Overall, lovely

It is very nice and we had a great time. It is a place full of life and nature and wildlife. Definitely if you come to cali you should know this place

This is a great way to see rural Cali and the mountains. It's gorgeous and a great opportunity for people of various physical abilities. The first waterfall alone would be sufficient, and was for two people in our group. The hike is steep and requires a pretty good level of physical fitness. The second waterfall is similar to the first but for those who want to hike through the mountain, it's worth it. The water is ice cold (but your feet acclimate or freeze quickly). Water shoes are sufficient for both activities. Our English speaking guide was ill and did not show up but I was informed that morning. Luckily we had someone in our group who spoke Spanish well enough and our driver was outstanding in leading the group. My partner had wanted to "climb and hike the Andes" and though he would like to do more - this tour made him happy too. I highly recommend it. Apply bug spray! We all got bitten by something we didn't see or feel.
