General Description Pico de Loro is located in the Farallones de Cali National Park near Pance. It is such a challenging mountain with steep trails and dense cloud forests. I am sure you will feel deeply accomplished if you prepare well and respect the intense mountain trail. Personal Experience I climbed Pico de Loro two months ago after starting my hiking journey on easier trails like Three Crosses Hill and 3H Waterfall. While I was ascending the steep muddy path, I enjoyed the peaceful silence of nature. Reaching the summit felt like achieving a major life goal. I had planned to stop there, but conquering this peak was so satisfying that I now continuously look for harder hiking challenges.

Excellent hike
We had a fantastic trip with our guide Julian Fernando, with Valley Aventours. Pickup at our hotel was on time, Julian was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. The hike itself was strenuous and steep; no problem if one is in excellently hiking condition. We got lucky today and the weather was perfect. Highly recommended!

An extraordinary experience in Pico de Loro – unforgettable and 100% recommended
I visited Pico de Loro today with my son and the experience was truly extraordinary. The views from the top are unique, those that leave you speechless and make every step worthwhile. The terrain is demanding, but overall the hike feels completely rewarding and is a five-star adventure. I want to highlight especially our guide, Jhonier, who made all the difference. His knowledge of the trail, his patience and the way he accompanied the rhythm of the group made us feel safe and enjoy every leg of the tour. Without a doubt, having him as a guide took the experience to another level. I recommend this tour 100%, both for those who seek a physical challenge and those who want to connect with nature and live a special moment in the Farallones de Cali. An experience I would repeat without hesitation!

Very good experience
We did this trek with my Italian girlfriend. Ernesto accompanied us on a day started by rain. We were lucky to get to know the history of this place and appreciate these beautiful landscapes.

This trail is the most difficult trail I ever had. This high humidity, heavy rainfalls an a mean inclination of 35% make it unique I was one this Trail with Julian - even if it was not possible to reach the top at this day it was a great experience
