Hvorfor er colombiansk kaffe så populær? Hvad er bag en colombiansk kop kaffe, der gør det så specielt? I Colombia er vi velsignet med ideelle geografiske og klimatiske forhold for kaffe dyrkning. Dette kombineret med omsorg og lidenskab fra kaffeproducenterne i hvert trin og de strenge kontroller, der sikrer kvaliteten af hvert korn, hvilket giver en rig kaffebedrift med økonomisk, social og miljømæssig bæredygtighed. Alt er et produkt af høj kvalitet. Denne tur varer cirka 8 timer, og vi kommer til at besøge en specialiseret kaffebed, hvor vi lærer om kaffens historie, metoder til forberedelse og hvordan man smager kaffe korrekt. Vi vil også have en meget lidenskabelig kaffebønder vise os hele processen med, hvordan kaffe dyrkes. Typisk frokost i regionen vil blive forsynet med billetprisen.

Vi vil tage vores tid til at gøre et lille besøg i denne magiske by, før vi tager til kaffefarm.
Vi vil gøre et kort stop i kommunen Costa Rica, i departementet Valle del Cuca. Her vil vi være i stand til at sætte pris på den store kultur omkring kaffe og dens betydning for denne region.
Vi vil prøve en lækker typisk måltid fra afdelingen af Valle del Cauca.
Vi vil lære om hele processen, der finder sted, før koppen af kaffe kommer til dine hænder. Fra den historiske baggrund kaffe har, går gennem processen med at plante, plukke, vaske, tørre og riste kaffebønner.

It was really cool being able to see how the coffee grows in the forest and learn about the history of how it came to Colombia. Gabriel was our guide and translator and did a fantastic job as well

We visited the finca of Andrés and his family on 22.2.2026. The driver Armando picked us up at the accommodation and we were lucky to have the private tour that day. It was an amazing experience, Andrés really gives you a detailed information not only about coffee, how it grows, how it is processed, and what are different ways of preparing it, but also explains about the conservartion of the environment, and flora and fauna around the finca. His wife prepared an amazing lunch for us, and overall we enjoyed this experience very much! Also, Armando the driver is really nice guy. Would definitely return and also stay on their finca next time as they also offer accommdation.

Juan was so helpful in translating, and the whole experience on the land was so nice! Andres gave so much information about his property, the history, and of course- everything there is to know about coffee! I loved the experience- we bought multiple gifts and the lunch was delicious!

Enjoyed our day visiting a coffee farm and learning all about coffee. I was amazed at how the process is and was able to learn how to identify the different flavors in the coffee. The home made lunch was delicious. Karina was a great tour guide, very communicative and friendly.

Amazing experience. All explained about what's behind a cup of coffee. The visit to the magic village, its food, drinks and typical sweets also had to taste. The guides and our operator very friendly at all times. It was a learning visit to value every cup of coffee we had in the morning and to identify a good coffee.

Gabriel was an absolutely great tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. The coffee farm tour was fantastic. I learned so much and had a fantastic time. Make sure to wear good walking shoes as you'll cover a good amount of ground. Really fortunate to have Gabriel as a tour guide as well!
