Velkommen til Nafplio! Oplev en uforglemmelig oplevelse i Grækenlands første hovedstad, der anses for at være en af de smukkeste og mest romantiske byer i Grækenland! Under denne fantastiske vandretur i byen Nafplio lærer vi om dens lange historie, mens vi vandrer i de maleriske gyder med de neoklassiske palæer og venetianske balkoner. Ledsaget af en lokal rejseleder besøger vi de vigtigste arkæologiske steder, vi søger efter spor af frankerne, venetianerne og osmannerne i byens arkitektur, og vi nyder de karakteristiske dufte af jasminer og basilikum.

Vi starter vores højdepunkter i Nafplio-turen fra lobbyen på dit hotel eller fra havnen.
Fra Landporten går vi ind i murene i den gamle by, og vi besøger blandt andet katedralen og pladsen Saint Spyridon, hvor myrdet blev den første guvernør i Grækenland.
Vi fortsætter vores tur til Syntagma-pladsen, byens hjerte, og vi udforsker dens historiske bygninger fra forskellige perioder såsom det arkæologiske museum, Vouleftikon, der husede det første parlament i den frie græske stat og den gamle moské. Dernæst begiver vi os til den fortryllende fæstning Akronafplia, der ligger på toppen af den samme klippehalvø, hvor vi er tryllebundet af den betagende panoramaudsigt. Til sidst tager vi til den lille fredelige gamle havn for at udforske den venetianske fæstning Bourtzi, byens varemærke, bygget på øen Agioi Theodoroi.
