Exciting Experience Ruined by Unfair Wait Times

I booked a bungee jump experience at Siete Lunas Bridge in Alcoy for Saturday, June 20, 2026, with a reservation time of 10:00 AM. My nephew and I arrived at 9:55 AM and checked in with the instructor. Shortly after arriving, we noticed that people who arrived well after us were being allowed to jump before us. As the morning went on, this continued to happen repeatedly. By 12:30 PM, the instructor was still allowing individuals who had arrived much later than we had to jump ahead of us. When I questioned the instructor about this, he claimed that those people had earlier reservation times which was a complete lie. We had personally observed that several of them had later time slots and had arrived long after we checked in (One guest came an hour after us). The explanation did not match what we witnessed. What made this especially frustrating is that we were visiting from a cruise ship. We had taken an hour long Uber ride to reach the location and had to return to the cruise port before 3:00 PM. Instead of enjoying an exciting and highly anticipated experience, we spent more than three hours waiting and worrying about whether we would make it back to our ship on time. It felt as though we were continuously being pushed back in favor of other guests. It was intentional and the situation gave us the impression that we were being treated differently because we were American tourists. Had we not repeatedly spoken up about the unfairness of the situation, I believe we would have been forced to wait even longer. Despite having a 10:00 AM reservation, we did not jump until after 1:00 PM. Afterward, we still had to complete the 20 minute hike back to the main road, find transportation, and make the hour long trip back to the cruise port. We barely made it back to our ship in time. The actual jump was enjoyable, but the poor organization, lack of transparency, and apparent disregard for reservation times completely overshadowed the experience. What should have been a memorable highlight of our trip turned into a stressful and disappointing ordeal.
