Vandre med en venlig guide til slottet Kings i en tæt skov og beundre en af de bedste udsigter i Ungarn: Den Store Donau Bend. Derefter gå til en varm sauna eller til en sandet Donau strand (valgfrit). Vi løfter 230 meter på 3,5 km, 90 minutter. Se den majestætiske og mægtige flod, som den skærer sin vej gennem bjerge! Downhill er 50 minutter og frokost (valgfrit) på en lokal restaurant. Om vinteren (dec-feb) slottet (glrated 4.7 ved 17500 ppl) er åben fra Fri-Sun, men vi kan altid besøge viewterrace (som er den vigtigste attraktion). I dette tilfælde giver jeg dig tilbage 2500 huf/6 euro. Ikke risikere, bare komme!

Efter afhentning på din bolig med en privat bil eller minibus kører vi en time til den berømte by Visegrád, engang Ungarns hovedstad og kongernes hovedkvarter. Der efterlader vi bilen ved Donau-floden, går ind i den tætte skov af gigantiske, ældgamle træer og fortsætter cca. 90 min vandretur til slottet, beliggende på en høj klippe lige over floden med betagende natur. Se den mest berømte flod i Europa, mens den skærer sig vej gennem bjerge! Vi løfter 230 meter på 3,5 km og ankommer derefter til selve slottet, hvor vi får adgang til og forundrer udsigten. Du vil have tid til at tage utallige billeder og eventuelt besøge voksudstillingen af festlige konger og museerne for jagt og midaldrende våben.
Så med 15 minutters kørsel ankommer vi til Best SaunaHouse omkring Budapest, hvor du kan forkæle dig selv efter de udendørs eventyr og nyde den varme og elegante stemning. De tilbyder flere forskellige saunarum: - bjælke sauna (110 Celsius) - Finsk sauna (85 Celsius) - dampbad (85 Celsius) - lækker sauna (50 grader) - infralys sauna + 2 dyppebassiner til at køle af mellem saunasessionerne. De har også en bar med drinks af alle slags.

Thank you Zsolt for a great day out in nature- he will pick you up in his car and you'll have a privately guided hike through the woods. Hike time about 1 hour, not too much elevation gain, and come out to a beautiful valley just before reaching the castle grounds. Be prepared if it's a hot summer day. Visegrad is on a really beautiful spot on the Danube River. We went on a weekday so it was quiet and peaceful there. The lunch stop at a local caf afterwards was casual, hearty traditional home-cooking type dishes, no frills, then we chose the sauna option which was perfect after all the humidity and sun we got earlier- cold plunge pools, indoor and outdoor, alternating with some hot sauna time. You will be out all day, overall a unique excursion away from Budapest.

We loved Zsolt as a tour guide. We had to have been the slowest participants he has ever had, but he was extremely patient! This is a long day excursion and you better be able to do 2 - 80 minute hikes (one being uphill). Zsolt has a nice personality and great knowledge, so he’s the perfect person for this type of activity. My only regret is that I had taken more pics of the castle before reaching the top- small spot about 20 mins before where there is a good view through the trees!
Private ride to hiking spot! Zsolt was an amazing tour guide for the hike @ tour of the castle! Local cuisine for lunch was delicious. Sauna includes multiple saunas & plunges pools-very relaxing after the hike. Highly recommend this tour for a day outside of Budapest

I had an excellent time with Zsolt as my guide. This was my first day in Budapest after over 25 hours of flying. I was looking for an excursion that took me out of the city to nature, an opportunity to get out and hike as well as learn about the country. This trip did exactly that. Zsolt was accommodating, punctual and very Knowledgeable. It was like a day planned with a friend rather than a “tour.” Zsolt was quick to share information that I was interested in or for us to just enjoy nature as we hiked. It was only myself and Zsolt on this trip. After hiking, we had lunch and than went to the saunas before heading back to the city. I highly recommend this trip if hiking, history and a local sauna is what you are looking for. Dana
Incredible break from the business of Budapest. Lots to do here with a great hike, the castle and the river are beautiful views; and then the sauna is so relaxing at the end. Don't miss out on this trip!

We have spent a lovely day out there, I didn’t even know that there are sooo beautiful mountains nearby Budapest. The walk was easier than we have expected, so had more time in the castle. Those kings really had a great taste regarding placing their homes! The sauna is exclusive and we recommend this trip. Anita Joey

Excellent service, I truly recommend it. Zsolt is a genuinely caring and responsible guide, with lots of knowledge about the places and in general. Very nice combo of excercise and chill afterwards, with some local culture and sightseeing - a perfect day. For a very reasonable price.
