Budapest is a beautiful city that is difficult to appreciate in only 5-6 hours!
Budapest (or Pestbuda) seems like a beautiful city and this tour gives you the opportunity to taste it a little bit. You will have about 5-6 hours to visit the city as Vienna to Budapest and coming back will take 6 hours of your day! Travelling though is comfortable and you will be picked up at your hotel (early!). You will be with the guide for about 1h30-2h during the tour as you visit different places across the city, the rest of the day will be free time (after lunch). In our case, Roman was a very good guide and driver. One thing that could be improved I believe: Guide should speak to us through a mic in the car and maybe when we visit the city with him so we can better hear his comments. Overall, very good tour but you will only see the surface of the city. You will have to wake up early and do a lot of road, but the view is worth it I believe! And if you like it maybe you go back and spend a couple of days in Budapest, seems like a fine city!

Highly recommended
The best way to see Budapest if you are in Vienna. It was very well organized in terms of the stops to the most iconic spots, a very knowledgeable guide who shared great historical and modern day information about Hungary as a country.

Great day in Budapest!
We had an amazing day with Roman as our guide. We debated even going to Budapest for just one day or whether we should take a train on our own. I am so glad we booked this tour as there is know way we’d see as much a did if we were on our own. If you’re on the fence, just book it!

Great tour; ask for Markus!
First, ask for Markus to be your tour guide! He’s so nice, personable, and easygoing. He really made the day! Very knowledgeable about all the locations. He gave us a ton of great info without being overwhelming. His company does small groups, so you don’t feel like you’re just tagging along, looking around.

Budapest!
Really enjoyed this day trip to Budapest. It was a long day, but definitely worth it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative, especially about the history of Budapest and the places we visited.
The tour was well organized and gave us a good mix of guided sightseeing and some time to explore on our own. Budapest is a beautiful city with incredible architecture and so much history.
