I had a really great time on the Grand City Tour with Cityrama! Our guide was awesome—really friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about Budapest. Instead of just listing facts, they shared interesting stories that made the history a lot more enjoyable. The views from Fisherman’s Bastion were incredible, and it was so nice to see places like St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Parliament up close. The tour was well organized, the pace was just right, and we got to see so much in a few hours. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Budapest and want a great introduction to the city!

The tour was really good, which we owe to our tour guide Susanne and her team including the bus driver. We owe that to the bus driver. You get a good overview of the city and its history. For me, the parliament was the absolute highlight.

Ester was a great tour guide. She was funny and knowledgeable. This is a great tour when the weather isn’t ideal. The air conditioned bus made it easy to endure the 100 degree heat.

Be abit early to the tour, it leaves on time. Don't worry if you're some distance from the starting point, Budapest's streets are easy to navigate and you can be anywhere within 15-20minutes walking, metro or rail. Recommend getting the GoBudapest app for travel, they offer 24hr, 72hr, etc access to the system - it also helps plan routes to get there (like Google) and you are paid up already! Our tour took us to the Buda Castle complex during peak time, gave us much history, tourist kitch and the time to take in the sites, grab food, drinks and then move through the beautiful neighborhoods to our next stop at Hero Square and finally to Parliament. Overall the tour was informative, timely and well prepared - recommend if you'd like to let someone keep you from lounging your day away in beautiful Budapest. On our visit, The Parliament tour ended about 15 minutes after the official time, but still gave us time to hit Sky Note Bar for lunch (reservations recommended) & drinks next to St Stephens Basillica. Great intro to the Jewel of the Danube!

Great tour with Sonja-we got lots of historical background along with the sites that we visited to help with context. Highlight of tour was visit to Parliament building-absolutely spectacular! All in all, great value for the money.

Very easy tour, mostly taking a bus ride with short breaks at few monuments and squares. Good guide Andrea, highly recommended.

We missed out on pre-booking Parliament tickets so booked this tour as a way to see the Hungarian Parliament. So glad we did - we got so much more out of the tour. Our guide Christina was excellent, extremely knowledgable and made everything very interesting with her local insights. The tour covered much more than we could have sone ourselves in the same time, and includes free time to walk around Fishermen’s Bastion and the Buda castle district. In addition to driving around we also got out at Heroes Square and finished at the Parliament building with an official tour of the main areas and the Hungarian Crown jewels. 100% worthwhile doing this tour.
