Budapest fortæller to forskellige historier gennem sin mad, og denne tur giver dig mulighed for at vælge hvilken der skal smage. Vælg Óbuda, byens ældste kvarter, bygget over romerske ruiner, hvor en fungerende slagterbutik, en restaurant med over 125 års historie og et lokalt café udfolder sig på tværs af 8 smagninger af ungarsk pølser, lángos, fánk og hjemmelavet strudel. Eller vælg Downtown Budapest, hvor store boulevarder og barokke gårde rammer 8 smagsprøver af fyldig gulyás-suppe, sprøde lángos, tangerede grøntsager og ungarsk kød, afsluttet med skorstenkage og en lille ungarsk øl. Begge ruter ledes af en Vejleder, der behandler hvert stop som deres eget kvarter, og begge gemmer en Secret Dish langs vejen, en lokal favorit, som vi ikke vil nævne, før den er foran dig. This was our first food tour, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! We tried a variety of different foods at local cafés and restaurants while talking about Hungarian history. Fabulous tour with Zoltan. Very well organised. Great choices for food stops. So much food - come hungry! Zoltan was really knowledgeable and great fun. Get the drinks package - the shots were something else! Came with our 2 teenagers and they loved it too - not too much walking!

This is the best was to start a trip in a foreign country. Get a nice experience of the culinary scene by a local, some history as you walk around and get to meet some friendly people from all over the world along the way. Out guide Kitti was very friendly and followed up the tour with all the things we did, recipes and a picture. Great job!
