Brooklyn Bridge Waterfront Guided Bike Tour

Vi vil se Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge Park og DUMBO lagerdistriktet. Efter en hurtig rundtur i rådhusområdet ruller vi over Brooklyn Bridge med stop for de perfekte fotoops af den smukke Wall Street-skyline. Mens jeg er der, vil jeg dele historisk indsigt i tvillingeikonerne i New York Citys East River: Manhattan- og Brooklyn-broerne. Vi fortsætter til Brooklyns charmerende brunstensgader. Efter et stop ved den smukke Promenade, vil vi glide gennem NYCs nyeste, mest innovative og smukke 85 hektar store legeplads ved vandet, Brooklyn Bridge Park (lige åbnet i 2010). Der vil være stop og fotoops i massevis i de shabby-chic forsendelses- og lagerdistrikter i DUMBO, Vinegar Hill og Brooklyn Navy Yard. Brooklyn Heights er, hvor vi finder elegante 1800-talsbrune sten på stille, træforede gader. Se hvorfor Matt Damon, Paul Giamatti og Emily Blunt og John Krasinski gjorde dette kvarter til deres hjem.
Promenade of Brooklyn Heights er bar none, det bedste sted i New York City at værdsætte den skyhøje skyline af Wall Street's tårne. Vi stopper her.
NYCs nyeste park sidder under broen. Åbn i 2010, og stadig lige ved at blive færdig, denne 85 hektar store park er en postindustriel genanvendelse af seks forladte kommercielle skibsfart.
DUMBO var engang et travlt knudepunkt for skibsfart og industri med mange lager fra det 19. århundrede. Det er genfødt i dag som et glamourøst kvarter, der på én gang er både glitrende og gnistrende.
Vi går tilbage til Manhattan Bridge og giver os fugleperspektiver over det nordlige Brooklyn, Queens og East River.
Vi vender tilbage til butikken via East River Park og svinger gennem dele af Chinatown og den historiske South Street Seaport.

Had the pleasure of taking Scott’s Brooklyn Waterfront bike tour this past weekend. It was a great experience and Scott was a very knowledgeable guide.
The ride it self was not hard and Scott rode at our pace the history of Brooklyn and the bridge was very informative and Scott was great at it.
Had a great time! Loved seeing the beautiful views and the Brooklyn heights area! Scott was great!!

We had a wonderful experience on a personal guided tour across the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. Our guide, Scott, was a friendly and engaging person who shared many fascinating stories—not only about the bridge’s origins, but also about the DUMBO area and much more. He took his time to make the tour special, even helping us take photos together along the way, which we really appreciated. It felt relaxed, personal, and very informative. This is truly a great tour, and we would highly recommend it—definitely a five-star experience!

Meeting point was easy to find and our tour guide Scott was waiting for us. The bikes were of good standard and an assistant made adjustments to ensure a comfortable ride height. Helmets were provided !. Scott introduced himself and explained tour route. As long as you posess a reasonable level of fitness, you will enjoy the tour , plenty of stops and opportunities to take photos. Scott provided lots of historical information about Brooklyn and showed many locations we were unaware of. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend.
