For grupper på op til 4, 8 eller 16 passagerer, denne private dagstur fra York, kun for din fest, giver mulighed for at udforske Bronte Country og Yorkshire Dales National Park, herunder West Yorkshire Pennine Village of Haworth (gennemført af Bronte søstrene og hjemsted for Bronte Parsonage Museum), Bingley Five Rise Locks (det mest spektakulære træk ved Leeds og Liverpool kanal), den traditionelle Yorkshire Dales landsby Linton (med sine stenbroer og kalkstenfald), Bolton Abbey (hvor du vil se den fantastiske indstilling af ruinerne af det 12. århundrede Augustinian kloster); og nyde det spektakulære landskab af Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Vi tager afsted til Bronte Country med din Tour Guide, der fortæller dig om områdets historie og funktioner, når du krydser Marston Moor, passerer gennem den traditionelle købstad Wetherby og ser den spektakulære Arthington Viaduct over floden Wharfe.
Vores første stop er ved Bingley Five Rise Locks, hvor du vil se den højeste trappelås i England, et spektakulært resultat af teknik konstrueret i 1774 som en del af Leeds og Liverpool Canal. Vi forlader Bingley for den korte rejse til vores hovedstop ved Haworth, på kanten af det barske Pennine Moors, hvor Bronte-familien boede fra 1820, og søstrene skrev deres berømte romaner i en to-timers mellemlanding frokosttid. Du kan besøge Bronte præstermuseum og Bronte Memorial Chapel i den nærliggende kirke, hvor deres far prædikede, eller bare udforske de maleriske butikker på den brostensbelagte hovedgade og spise en afslappet frokost på en af de traditionelle caféer - valget er dit!
Vi forlader Haworth og kører op ad Penistone Hill for at tage et fotostop for at beundre hedlandskabet mod Top Withens, hvor Bronte Sisters gik for at få inspiration, inden vi går nordpå eftermiddagen i Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Du ankommer til den maleriske, traditionelle Dales-landsby Linton, hvor vi stopper for fotografier af Linton Falls, inden vi fortsætter vores rejse gennem nationalparken.
Det største eftermiddagsstoppested er ved Bolton Abbey, hvor adgangen er gratis, og du vil være i stand til at udforske Priory Church og ruinerne fra det 12. århundrede Augustinus Priory i dets smukke omgivelser ved floden, eller måske tage springbræt udfordringen, hvis du føler dig mere eventyrlysten !

The sceneries of Yorkshire dales are spectacular! We all enjoyed the trip tremendously. Mark, our excellent driver and tour guide, was very dedicated. He made extra efforts to maximize what we could see during the 8-hour tour. Absolutely worthwhile!

What a lovely day with Chris, our driver! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and patient with us when we took a bit of extra time for lunch and photos.

Charlotte Brontë has a special place in my heart. It was so special for me to visit her home. It really was like stepping into her life. On top of that, we visited the classic Yorkshire town of Grassington for a cuppa. Our guide, Chris, knew this area and was extremely informative and accommodating. Great day.

I loved the little farms separated by hedges and typical scenes out of storybooks, sheep...even experienced the Yorkshire traffic jam of sheep. Wonderful host and a great tour for mobility reduced people. They need a portable step for the van though. That first step up makes it very hard for short or people with mobility issues to get into the van. Easy pick up spot in the city and good long tour. At the end of the day I felt like I had seen it all. Such a knowledgeable and experienced guide, sadly I don't remember his name...unless it was Bob himself. Lots of good stops and good long bathroom breaks so we never felt rushed

Let me preface this by saying I love Viator and have had many wonderful experiences with them. This time we Toured the parsonage at Haworth and explored the Yorkshire dales. This has been a lifelong dream to visit the home of the Brontes and see the moors. It was a beautiful day. Unfortunately, the regular driver had a medical emergency and we had a substitute driver. He was lovely but didn't know much about the Brontes. Still a great day but I feel I would've learned more with the regular driver so that was a bit of a disappointment for an expensive private tour. I understand emergencies can't be helped but perhaps a backup who is more familiar with the tour or a price cut? Nevertheless, it was wonderful to see Haworth.
Howard was our guide. He was awesome and the best. Funny, kind, informative, and he made the trip wonderful. We loved his sense of humor and he was so knowledgeable of the area. This was an amazing day. Highly recommended!
Now utterly understandable why Yorkshire is called "God's own country". Fabolous tour brilliantly explained. Punctual, excellent & considerate driving. Mark is a top class guide, and the service from the beginning with BOBH great. Thank you BOBH folks for making 2 of my 5 day holiday so very good. (But be warned: you are encouraged to eat ice cream...). Every detail that I could have asked for in a day out was 5*. I suggest you book any of their tours well in advance.

A wonderful day out to Haworth Parsonage, returning via beautiful Bolton Abbey. Our driver Howard was punctual, charming, knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed showing off this beautiful part of the world. Would book for similar without hesitation.

I was the only person who had booked this day trip because of going at the very end of November ie right at the end of the season. Mark, the guide and driver was excellent: very knowledgeable and concerned about my comfort. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to go to Haworth and beyond from York.
