Nyd den perfekte halvdags tur, der slutter med en dejlig afslappet tid på en smuk strand. Du får mulighed for at se nogle af de mest historiske bygninger i Kingstown (The Capital City), Fort Charlotte og Botaniske Have.

Vores tur starter på Kingstown krydstogt terminal. Vi tager dig gennem vores hovedstad Kingstown. Når vi kører igennem jer, vil vi blive vist og givet oplysninger om nogle af de mest historiske bygninger som Central Police Station, The Financial Complex, Det Østlige Caribiske Højesteret og også vores Cenotaph.
Vi kører gennem vores travle markedsplads, hvor mange leverandører og landmænd sælger deres lokale producerer.
Når vi fortsætter gennem vores hovedstad Kingstown, kører vi på gaden i kirken eller "back street", som den kaldes lokalt. Her vil du blive vist og fået en kort historie om metodistkirken såvel som den anglikanske og den romersk-katolske kirke.
Derefter rejser vi videre til Fort Charlotte. Fort Charlotte er en britisk-kolonitidenes fort, bygget på en bakke med udsigt over havnen og med panoramaudsigt over Leewards side af øen, herunder Kingstown, Young Island, Bequia og også den berømte ø Mustique.
Efter vores stop ved Fort Charlotte, vil vi derefter blive med i Leeward High, som er omdøbt til Nelson Mandela Highway. I forbifarten kommer du til at se Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, The Victoria Park - et lille stadion, der også kaldes Carnival City i løbet af Carnival sæsonen, og så går vi videre til The Botanical Gardens, som er den ældste have af den slags i den vestlige halvkugle
Derefter videre til vores endelige websted er på vindsiden af St. Vincent og vil være den smukke maleriske Villa strand. Det har også en fantastisk udsigt over Young Island Resort, hvor Johnny Depp og nogle af hans besætningsmedlemmer opholdt sig, mens de filmade The Pirates of the Caribbean. Villa Beach har også hyggelige barer og restauranter og gode toiletfaciliteter. Her kan du svømme / snorkle, så tag dig med dine svingedskaber. (valgfri)

Take the botanical gardens tour with Antony when you arrive. He is amazing!
I loved the fact the lady who took us on the tour was early! We left at 0840 to meet her at pick up point and as we were leaving we had a call she was already there! We were due to meet at 0900. There were 3 of us on the route. She explained with humour and detail the history of the island. Drive safely through the narrow and hilly roads of st Vincent. First stop fort Charlotte. Chef the guide explained the history of a place that in parts made me feel uneasy who knows what the settlers did there. On to the botanical gardens which were sadly closed. So the tour changed and we went back to Kingstown explored the market and did a little shopping. Finally to paradise beach club. Could have missed that part to be honest but it was a good tour
Chef was a great your guide. She was very attentive to our wishes. When only 1 person of 6 wanted to go to the beach and only for a few minutes, she was quite willing to switch beaches so that the other 5 of us didn't have to pay for beach access that we wouldn't use. She told us a great deal about the island as she drove those narrow, steep roads so ably.
This was a great tour! Informative and interesting. Our tour guide was really terrific. The booking was changed because they couldn't make our last minute request work, so we reached for the next day via Whatsapp. This was super helpful because we had some othr things scheduled, and the tour company was able to tailor the tour to our needs. They even ended up dropping us off at the ferry terminal instead of back at the hotel which saved us time and a taxi fare.
Had a great tour with Dino yesterday (and with Shef for a short time). Dino"s driving skills (and, in particular, his clutch control up those hills) were brilliant!. Very informative anf enjoyable tour. The only reason we did not award 5 stars is that the beach resort that we visited at the end was ram jammed full. We were happy to stroll on the beach and have a drink in the coffee shop but those wanting a good beach expetience might be disappointed. Maybe find am alternative resort to take your guests if possible?
Many different varieties of trees, most labelled. Few flowers. Seats and benches to rest at. Toilet facilities available We didn't hire a guide, maybe we should have
We had a most enjoyable afternoon with Joel driving and Anthony at Fort Charlotte and a different Anthony in the stunning botanical gardens. Both men were very friendly and very knowledgable. Fabulous views from the fort and interesting history to learn. The gardens have trees from all over the world. There is a breadfruit tree descended from one planted by Captain Bligh. Anthony knew the history of every plant and is clearly a devoted caretaker. We also saw and heard the beautiful local parrot. Interesting afternoon including the drive there and back.

Very pleased with pickup and return to hotel with TopDawg Taxi. Suggest hiring your own private guide at the Gardens. Note that the Gardens does not take credit cards.
