Bonneville Salt Flats Adventure

This is worth every single penny you pay! Our tour guide Logan was phenomenal. He is very knowledgeable of the region and gave us so many amazing facts. My son and I had a great time!

McKenna was a knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She was very personable and a pleasure with which to interact.

Our tour guide was awesome and so passionate. He knew so much and we learned so much more about the area from this tour than we would have ever learned on our own!

Zell was great. Very attentive to our needs. Did not feel rushed. She added more stops than required.

Fun time on the flats. It’s about an hour and 40 mins outside SLC. Looks like the surface of the moon!

If you are going from salt lake it’s about 2hr drive total there and back. Definitely interesting for anyone who loves race history or environmental geological perspective. It’s informative. However, the stops are barren nothing much to do once you get to a view point. Consider weather conditions also. The day we went was quite cloudy compared to the rest of our trip we didn’t have immaculate white salt or reflection. If you drive there with a purpose, for instance, to watch a sunrise or a sunset…. That would be nice. Drive to the speedway (that is the safest place to take the car on the salt flats) and just explore yourself. When you’ve had your fill you just keep moving. My daughter didn’t enjoy the great salt lake the smell was too pungent for her lol. Def interesting but a slow tour overall.

This was everything as described and more. We were caught unaware that there would be a hike and even though our guide said that it was in our itinerary, I reread what I had and no where did it say, “hike up a mountain side.” So of course we were dressed inappropriately. Dima was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of our lack of knowledge about the hike and the fact that Dima picked everyone up and dropped them off at their individual locations. Even though this is a very nice thing to do it added a great deal of time to the beginning and end of an already long journey. I would suggest one meeting location for pick up and drop off so an hour could be deleted from the trip.

Our guide Ella was the best!She was informative, friendly and very accommodating.This was our first trip to Salt Lake City and Ella provided recommendations not only on the Salt Flats but on the whole area. She made us feel like we were traveling with a good friend! It was a perfect day at the Salt Flats!

Our guide was Ella who was also training Clair. Both ladies were lovely and very informative about the areas we visited. Ella from start to finish talked very passionately about things and we learnt a lot from her. The tour itself is definitely worth doing out to the flats as they are incredible. So pleased we did this tour and thank you Ella and Clair for all your advice.

This trip was so much fun and a great opportunity to see a lot of cool sites outside of Salt Lake City! I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
