Chateau Bojnice, et af de ældste og uden tvivl mest charmerende monumenter i Slovakiet. Den sidste aristokratiske ejer, grev John Palfy, besluttede at genopbygge slottet til et romantisk slot i gotisk genoplivningsstil. Som model brugte han de franske slotte i Loire-dalen. Beundre det fuldt møblerede interiør på din guidede slottur. Frokostpause og kør til den eventyrlige landsby Cicmany, berømt for sine malede træhuse. Oplev på vores luksus privat tur det storslåede Chateau Bojnice, - genopbygget i det 19-20. århundrede af sidste ejer - grev John Palfy, der forvandlede det til det romantiske eventyrslot. Vi fortsætter til landsbyen Cicmany.(40 min. kørsel gennem naturskønne Strazovske bakker), - berømt for sine træhuse med hvide ornamenter. Vi er glade for at vise dig et dejligt stykke Slovakiet. Retur til Bratislava (2 timers kørsel). Under turen får du en 2000 års historieoversigt, det turbulente 20. århundrede, 1. verdenskrig, etableringen af Tjekkoslovakiet, Anden Verdenskrig, etableringen af den tjekkoslovakiske socialistiske republik, kommunismen, fløjlsrevolutionen, Slovakiet og nutidens liv. I joined the Slovak Ancestry Tour and two private tours. Everything was well planned and our guides(Peter and Michal) were very friendly and knowledgeable . We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Cicmany and Bojnice with Majka, our tour guide. Majka shared a lot of information with us along the way which gave us excellent insights into both destinations. Cicmany is a stunning and unique village with its wooden houses covered in white markings, and Bojnice Chateau is truly a fairytale castle. Don't let the eight hours needed for this tour put you off, as both places are well worth a visit and the Slovakian countryside is really beautiful. Majka was a great driver and we felt very safe with her. Peter and Janka of Best Slovakia Tours were very quick in responding to our inquiries and very helpful with their advice on this tour. Best day of our trip to Slovakia! Thank you, Peter, for the great day trip to Bojnice and Cicmany. The Chateau and the small village were great, the drive through the Slovak regions relaxed and very nice. The highlight, however, was Peter’s knowledgeable and personal anecdotes about his home country, which made us get to know and understand Slovakia and its inhabitants properly. Best SlovakiaTours recently organised a 10 day tour of Slovenia, with Tour Guide Martin in charge. We had an excellent and fascinating time in this beautiful country, exploring castles, ancient towns and spectacular gorges. Martin looked after us extremely well as usual a d made sure that we got a huge amount of pleasure from the sights we saw and explored.
