Bådtur på Ballestas-øerne i Paracas
Beskrivelse
Turen til Ballestas-øerne begynder ved håndværks- og turisthavnen i El Chaco. Vi går ombord på vores båd med 02 påhængsmotorer, der vil tage os til de vidunderlige Ballestas-øer, det vigtigste dyrelivsreservat på den peruvianske kyst, hvor vi vil observere søløver, fjollede fugle, pelikaner, pingviner og andre havfugle. Helt klart højdepunktet på turen til Ballestas-øerne er søløverne eller søløverne, der stjæler alles opmærksomhed på grund af deres nysgerrige adfærd (de sover, "poserer for kameraerne", eller simpelthen socialiserer og lever uden problemer, da de indtager toppen af fødekæde i området uden naturlige rovdyr).

Vi stopper efter at have navigeret 10 minutter for omhyggeligt at værdsætte et nordligt punkt på Paracas-halvøen. Hvor du kan se på, fotografere og filme Lysekronen, hvor rejselederen kort vil forklare om målene, materialerne fra området og deres mulige oprindelse.
Navigationen fortsætter, og efter cirka 15 minutter fra lysekronen ankommer du til Ballestas-øerne, hvor du vil have 30 minutter til at værdsætte en stor biodiversitet takket være Humboldt-strømmen og opstrømningsfænomenet samt andre faktorer såsom solen og vinden. Fuglekiggeri vil finde et stort antal af disse såsom: måger, bryster, skarver, pelikaner, gribbe og Humboldt-pingviner. Krebsdyr, pighuder, bløddyr, tang og andre vil også blive set. Helt klart højdepunktet på Ballestas Islands Tour er søløverne, der stjæler alles opmærksomhed på grund af deres nysgerrige adfærd (de sover, "poserer for kameraerne", eller simpelthen socialiserer og lever uden problemer, fordi de indtager toppen af fødekæden i område uden naturlige rovdyr). Returen, på omkring 40 minutters navigation, bliver afslappende, og at nyde havbrisen er en naturlig anti-stress.

I really recommend this company! Communication was great. They picked us up from the bus station. We could store our luggage at the office for the time of the trip which was really helpful. The trip itself was great. Our guide Marco was so nice! He explained a lot and was also funny. Also the captain let everybody see the animals from both sides. We were in the boat with circa 40 people. 20 on each side. Sunglasses and wind jackets come in handy. We had to pay for entering the national park to Islas Ballestas. It would have been nice to have an option to pay for both national parks - Paracas national park and Islas Ballestas national park. It’s cheaper and when we went for a tour later we had to pay again. We saw 2-3 penguins and it was a success because July is not their season. We also saw many sea lions (with babies too) and tons of birds. The overall experience was great. Perfect way to start the day in Paracas.
It was a great tour and we saw impressive animals. Unfortunately only two penguins. The tour guide (Riccardo) was very nice and gave us a lot of information.

Both the captain Roger and the tour guide Ricardo did an amazing job guiding us through the experience, explaining the details of the islands and also spotting the penguins and sea lions. Had a great time and an unforgettable experience.

Incredible tour. Ricardo is a true expert and he described the islands and wildlife to such a depth that we also learned about climate change and how Paracas and the Ballestas impact the Peruvian economy. This is a very unique experience and with Ricardo’s master class and the captain ‘Caballo’’s navigation around the islands, we leave with great knowledge and memories.
The tour experience was awesome, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us informed with a lively experience.
Our boat excursion was part of a two-day tour. Everything was organized perfectly and our guide on the boat, Riccardo, was fantastic!!! We saw so many anomalies belonging to the Peruvian ecosystem! Highly recommended.
