Under denne udflugt tager du en naturskønt kørsel for at opleve den naturlige, uberørte skønhed i Jamaica. Under din tur kører du gennem bakkerne, hvor du kan overse det azurblå vand i Det Caribiske Hav. Dernæst vil du opleve en af Jamaicas bedste ture! The Blue Hole er som en række hemmelige falder beliggende i St. Ann og kendt for sit smukke iskoldt blåt vand og et lille vandfald til din svømning. Dernæst vil du ride på hesteryg, hvor du vil opleve spændingen ved at ride langs landskabet. Når du er færdig med at plaske i det krystalblå vand og køre på nogle af de smukkeste heste, slutter din dag med at nyde nogle af Jamaicas traditionelle retter. Du har også mulighed for at shoppe til souvenirs og meget mere.

Since our cruise ship didn’t offer many excursions here, we were so happy to fine Genius! We can’t recommend her enough. She gave us a personal tour of Ocho Rios and the surrounding area and told us each areas history along the way. She even lined us up with the best guides at every stop. You are even able to customize your time and add on additional stops and interests if time allows. We felt 100% safe the whole time and she was very protective of our time. You are able to store your belongings safely with her in her vehicle while you enjoy each destination. We will absolutely use her again if we’re luckily enough to return to Jamaica some day. Thanks Genius for a wonderful and safe tour!!
This tour is owned and operated by Genius. We started our tour at 9AM and ended by 1PM. Genius picked up my husband and I at our hotel in a private coach with WiFi. From the hotel, we drove 30 minutes to the horseback riding station. I loved the fact that my husband and I were the only ones on the excursion. We rode the horses around town and in the water (by our own) for about one hour. Chuckee, my horse, was well trained. Our guide took many pictures of us. We then drove about 30 minutes to Blue Hole. Our guide, Dave, was amazing. He was patient with me as I was scared to jump off the ropes (yet I did it) while he took pictures and videos of us with our own phones. After Blue Hole, Genius drove us to town where we shopped for a little bit. Overall, the excursion was fun. Note: make sure to bring money to tip everyone (tour guides for horse back riding, Blue Hole, and shuttle operator).
I highly recommend doing this tour! However, I will advise if you want a true horse riding in the sea experience ask for the saddles to be removed. We were disappointed in the horse ride and not being able to go deep as we have in the past on other islands. Other than that, we rate this tour as excellent!!! Our Guide at the Blue hole, Kamar was stellar and we always felt safe and he made sure we experienced it all to the fullest!! Ourt stop for a true Jamaican Jerk meal at Linda's was EXCELLENT! Our private driver was an excellent tour guide and made sure all of our needs were attended to.
All in all we had a good time on our excursion and our tour guides were terrific especially tyron at the blue hole! I’ll start by saying the blue hole was amazing and we had a great experience and liked talking with the locals and jumping off the cliffs. Everyone was helpful and welcoming. Our driver was phenomenal!! Now the downside, We started our tour with the horseback riding and were expecting a lot more than a short 20/30 min ride across a busy highway and onto the beach where we did get to go in the water with the horses which was amazing but only for a short amount of time and didn’t even get to ride down the beach, I think due to too many rocks. The horses were trained good and our guides were very friendly, but we were in an area where we felt a little unsafe especially it only being 2 of us. At the end of the day it was an experience we will always remember and had a fun time and we thank everyone for the great hospitality.
