De vil forklare alle de involverede processer og de unikke betingelser, der kræves for, at disse overnaturlige fænomener opstår. Din marine biolog vil også forklare, hvordan dette delikate økosystem opretholder en ren balance og hvad der skal gøres for at bevare og beskytte Bio Bay "Laguna Grande." Det er et meget specielt sted på planeten Jorden! Alt udstyr, snacks og kajakundervisning er inkluderet. Minimumsalder er 6 år. Børn under 6 år er ikke tilladt på nogen af vores ture.

- Vores kajakker er alle tandemkajakker til to personer - du booker pr. person ikke pr. kajak. Hvis der er en plads tilbage, betyder det, at der er 1 plads på en tandem kajak.
- Gæster under 18 år skal være ledsaget af en voksen.
- Ejeren af servicedyret skal levere en licenseret livsveste af kystvagten til dyret. Dyret skal være i total kontrol hele tiden. Husk, at der vil være mange mennesker omkring i mørket.
- Gæster, der ikke er i stand til at fuldføre turen af en eller anden grund, vil ikke modtage en refusion af nogen art.
- Alle gæster skal være i stand til at ro deres kajakker selv. Et af kravene er, at du er i stand til at komme ind og ud af kajakken på egen hånd og være i stand til at manøvrere det. Hvis du er en uerfaren kajakker, anbefaler vi stærkt, at du vælger den tidligere tur.
- Hvis der er en plads tilbage, betyder det, at der er 1 plads (for 1 person) på en tandem kajak (ingen enkeltkajakker til rådighed). Du vil blive ledsaget af en anden gæst på turen.
- Alle gæster skal ankomme 30 minutter før starten af deres tur. Vi vil respektfuldt ikke acceptere eller vente på nogen gæst efter denne tid.
- Hvis det er nødvendigt, kan en tarp (canopy) bruges under udflugten for at blokere eventuel lysforurening og forbedret oplevelsen.
- For bedst at sætte pris på de bioluminescente fænomener vores ture kører ved solnedgang og tidlig aften, og det kan blive temmelig mørkt i mangrove kanalen. Så hvis du er bange for mørke, en første gang kajakker, eller har små børn, anbefaler vi stærkt at tage den tidligere, solnedgang tur. På denne måde kan du se, hvor du skal hen, vænne dig til miljøet og skærpe dine kajakfærdigheder
- På grund af den enorme popularitet Bio Bay turné, nogle gange kan få overfyldt. Det er ikke ualmindeligt at møde op med andre turgrupper, der venter på at få adgang til kanalen, der fører til lagunen. Der kan være stødende andre kajakker langs vejen.
- Vær venligst opmærksom på, at denne tur finder sted i et naturligt miljø, og at det bioluminescente fænomen, selv om det er sjældent, kan ses året rundt. Lysstyrken er uforudsigelig og kan variere fra minimal til meget lys pludselig.
- SPECIAL NOTE: Vi opfordrer vores gæster til ikke at reservere turen på samme dag som ankomsten til øen, herunder kommer fra Vieques eller Culebra. Hvis flyvningen eller færgen forsinkes, og gæsten går glip af turen, vil gæsten ikke have ret til refusion eller omlægning.
- Turens varighed kan ændres afhængigt af solnedgang. Hvis ja, sender vi en påmindelse om opdateret mødetidspunkt.
- Denne tur foregår i vandet. Forvent at blive helt våd. Brug tøj og sko, der kan blive våde. Vi anbefaler at medbringe et skift af tøj og håndklæde til efter turen.
- Turen aflyses ikke på regnfulde dage. Vi bliver våde alligevel ;)
- Der er offentlige badeværelser på stedet, men de er ikke altid i god stand. Du kan overveje at stoppe i fastfood, før du kommer til mødestedet eller bruge badeværelserne fra de nærliggende butikker / restauranter, der undertiden er tilgængelige.
- På bestemte tidspunkter af året ankommer store mængder sargassum (havsald) til vores kyster. Dette kan gøre paddling til at føle som en træning. Også den naturlige nedbrydning lugt kan være ubehageligt.
- Selv hvis Viator-systemet tillader gæsten at skrive vægt over grænsen, vil det stadig være 240 lbs vægtgrænsen.
- Ingen forventende mødre
- Af sikkerhedsmæssige årsager kan børn under 6 år IKKE deltage i PURE ADVENTURE.
- Personer med epilepsi, rygproblemer, klaustrofobi, hjerteproblemer, svimmelhed, nylig kirurgi eller andre tilstande, der kan sætte livet i fare, må ikke deltage i PURE ADVENTURE-turen.
- Begrænsning: vægtgrænse på 240 lbs pr. person, ikke pr. kajak. For at sikre, at vægtbegrænsningen overholdes, bliver gæsterne vejet på stedet.
- Ikke anbefales til rejsende med hjerteproblemer eller andre alvorlige medicinske tilstande
- Vores kontorer er lukket på søndage - Reservationer foretaget lørdag efter 17:00 vil ikke blive revideret før mandag kl. 9. For afbestillingsanmodning i løbet af denne tid, bedes du sende os en besked via Viator.
- Det er gæstens ansvar at overholde sundheds- og vægtkrav.
- Selv hvis Viator-systemet tillader gæsten at skrive vægt over grænsen, vil det stadig være 240 lbs vægtgrænsen.

The tour guide was amazing host, always saving less experience guest from stuck at mangrove tree & keep everyone to finish line/safety. Unfortunately we didn’t see much bio, it isn’t magical blue at all. It was like a little sparkling in silver. Kayaking about 45min into lagoon & stay for 10min. 8pm tour. was clear sky to view stars. The canal was crowed with a lot traffic by another tours which make it difficult to kayak, was worry about bumping & flipping over. Bring a change of clothes. You will get wet & smelly. Bathroom was small & shared with bar & restaurant.

The intensity of the glow is a natural phenomenon and can vary significantly depending on other environmental factors. While we cannot guarantee a specific level of bioluminescence, we always do our best to provide the best possible experience on the night of the tour. We are also clear with our guests and contact them prior tour to let them know about the glow conditions if they have not been as expected. The guest has the opportunity to participate or cancel. We also understand your concerns about the traffic in the canal. As this is a popular nighttime activity, there can be multiple tour operators on the water, particularly during busy periods. Our guides are trained to navigate these conditions carefully and prioritize the safety of our guests at all times. As for the kayaking conditions, getting wet and encountering the natural smells of the mangrove environment are normal parts of this outdoor experience, which is why we recommend bringing a change of clothes. The location never opened and the phone was never answered. No voicemail either, because it’s not set up! I paid over $100 in Uber service for this HORRIBLE experience. Was supposed to leave at 6, and arrive 30 minutes prior…NOTHING!! Not even a text! Worst experience ever! And this was my “closing” of my trip to Puerto Rico.

The tour was wonderful! The Lake and scenery was really great and we were lucky enough to see the bioluminescence with a tarp. The company partially refunded us for not the best bioluminescence conditions but regardless would have been wonderful!

My family and I had a really great time. Our tour guides were yadial, amaury, gustavo, and catalina. This was a phenomenal experience and I would definitely recommend to everyone.
Horrible customer service. Natalia was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated and expected much better customer service. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

However, we would like to clarify the circumstances for the benefit of future guests. Our kayak tour has a clearly stated 240 lb maximum weight limit per participant, which is provided in the tour information and booking instructions through Viator. At the time of booking, the weights provided for your group indicated that all participants were within the required limit. Upon arrival, one participant’s actual weight was 294 lbs. For safety reasons, we could not allow that guest to participate, as exceeding the kayak’s weight capacity is a safety matter that we cannot make exceptions to. Our host communicated this privately and respectfully, with the intention of handling the situation as discreetly and professionally as possible. Although we were not required to do so, we also offered and provided a reimbursement for that participant’s tour space as a gesture of goodwill. We understand that this was disappointing for your group, but safety requirements must be applied consistently to all guests. We stand by the way our team handled the situation and are sorry that the necessary safety decision was perceived as poor customer service. What a work out !! This activity was fun and new for my boyfriend and I , but boy will your arms get tired !!!! We still enjoyed ourselves regardless, and the guides were there every step of the way for us. I only gave it a for because we paid for the bio experience, BUT before booking there is a disclaimer saying it depends on the moon so I can’t even be mad or say they were false advertising because we were already told about it. Fun experience, I’d highly recommend this activity !

We took the 8pm tour on 8/17 which the moon was a waxing crescent (26.8% illumination) and it was definitely dark and thrilling kayaking thru the mangrove channel. We did see the faint bioluminescence, however better viewing with the tarp covering.
