Mombasa with Omar was a great experience. Omar is very friendly and clever. We highly recommend him.
A visit to mombasa that will remain etched in us thanks to our guide Omar who knew passionately to make us live the origins and history of this city. Beyond the visit I forgot my phone at Fort Jesus and Omar with a huge kindness went to get it back to me and arranged with an acquaintance to have my phone returned to me that same evening at diani beach. Really feel free to make this tour with Omar , you will have an exciting time with a passionate guide full of finesse and humor Patrick and Rebecca
We discovered old Mombasa with Omar who is a very professional guide. He knows the history of the city perfectly well. Very interesting and cultivated, we were able to exchange on many topics. Visit that exceeded our expectations!!!
Omar is a very professional guide of unparalleled calm and friendliness. He told us the story of Fort Jesus and showed us around it wonderfully well. He introduced us to the alleys of the old town with its historic houses, the preparation and sale of fish on the way back from fishing, the spice walk, and the fabric shops with their seamstresses. And many other beautiful things. We recommend Omar without hesitation for any visits you desire.
Thanks to Omar for a wonderful tour today. I feel privileged to have had him share his knowledge of beautiful Mombasa, answered my endless questions and corrected gently my terrible kiswahili! This was a brilliant introduction to my first trip to Mombasa. Asante sana.

Excellent guide, friendly, with many very interesting historical notions. For the French going to Mombasa, I recommend Omar to visit Fort Jesus, the old town or the market. His presence is very reassuring and you will have a good time. A very kind and human man whom we were very appreciative to meet during our visit to Mombasa. Thank you Omar ☺️
Visiting Mombasa was a great way to spend a cloudy morning during our holiday in Kenya. We were picked up at our hotel and introduced to our guide, Omar, at our first location, a wood carving cooperative that ensures the craftsmen and women of the Akamba community receive a fair return for their skills by selling direct to customers. Once we had had a chance to see them creating their works of art, we then went to the shopping area and were spoilt for choice, leading to Omar laughing that it was a great day for the Kenyan economy. Next was a stop for photos at the famous tusks and Omar, as he did throughout the tour, providing lots of interesting historical details. Our walk continued to the markets to see all the local spices and produce, and a chance to pick up a few more souvenirs after a chance to try a few nuts, sweets and the aroma of all the local coffee and tea. The Old Town and the UNESCO site of Fort Jesus provided another chance to learn about the unique history of this vibrant city and spend time just strolling around exploring. And that was our morning, in the company of a wonderful guide. Omar is a true gentleman whose sole aim is for visitors to appreciate what a special place Mombasa is. He took time to get to know us as a family and did so with absolute sincerity, which created a very warm relationship between us all and made our visit a truly memorable one.
