Vi begynder turen med en bekvem afhentning fra vores kontor, der ligger nær byens centrum. Derfra går vi til Ninas hus, der ligger i hjertet af Berats historiske slot. Ved ankomst til Ninas hus vil du blive mødt med en varm velkomst fra vores lokale vært og ekspert kok. Madlavningsklassen begynder med en kort introduktion til de retter, vi skal tilberede. Du modtager alle de nødvendige ingredienser og udstyr, og vores ekspert kok vil guide dig gennem hvert trin i processen. Du vil have mulighed for at tilberede to eller tre traditionelle albanske retter, afhængigt af dine præferencer og tilgængelighed. Nogle mulige retter omfatter fyldte auberginer, Fërgesë (en traditionel albansk ret lavet med peberfrugter, tomater og ost), Når madlavningen er færdig, er det tid til at sætte sig ned og nyde det måltid, du har forberedt! Great cooking class with mama Nina in a restaurant in the castle. We had a great visit with Mikal who helped with translation and generally kept the conversation flowing. Wonderful experience with lovely people. The food was delish!

We loved the experience. Our guesthouse owners arranged it themself. It was a fun night with cooking, seeing then Albanian experience. The people are really welcoming you into there life/houses. 10/10

We had such a wonderful experience at this cooking class and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berat. The cooking was great fun, and we learned how to make some delicious traditional Albanian dishes in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight, though, was the people. Nina and Mikael were incredibly kind, warm, and friendly, making us feel like guests in their home rather than tourists. They shared stories about Albanian culture and made the whole experience both enjoyable and memorable. If you’re looking for an authentic experience with amazing hosts and fantastic food, don’t miss this cooking class. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Albania!

We had a wonderful time with mama Nina learning how to cook authentic Albanian dishes. She is very nice and fun and we also had a local man that knows English well to translate if needed. We cooked furgese, aubergine and meatballs and enjoyed our meal with some local raki and cold white wine. Would definitely recommend to try if you are in the area and are looking for something fun to do. The place is also a guest house with very reasonably priced drinks and a spectacular view. Thank you for the hospitality.

In just a few short hours Nina gently demonstrated, to an international group of 5, how to prepare a wonderful, simple, genuinely tasty Albanian meal. It was conducted in a unique setting, at the back of Restaurant Vasili, in the ancient castle of Berat, cooked in the simplest of kitchens. The experience was truly memorable, and at a very reasonable price compared to other schools. I urge you to give it a go.
