Mange legender omgiver den romerske brønd, en af Beograds mest mystiske attraktioner, bygget i begyndelsen af det 18. århundrede under barokke rekonstruktion af fæstningen. Brønden er 51 m dyb, med 3 m i diameter og to vindeltrapper, der forbindes i en dybde på omkring 35 meter og danner en DNA-lignende form. Alfred Hitchcock besøgte brønden i 1964 og sagde, at et miljø som det altid var en fornøjelse for ham. En militærbunker fører os ind i midten af 50'erne og perioden med den kolde krig. Excellent tour. The guide was knowledgable and we felt as though we gained a lot of information about the history of Belgrade. It was a large group of 43 people but we could hear all the information and the guide made sure all people in the group were together.

Guided tour of about 3 hours starting from the center Piazza della Repubblica and arriving towards the castle where you can visit the undergrounds used over the centuries for various destinations. The guide Mihailo very nice and a little 'whimsical takes very much to heart the description in accessible English and seems almost a skilled actor. At the end the tour ends in a cellar where you drink free excellent Balkan wine and make friends with the others in the group. Highly recommended visit
