Mød den mest turbulente tid i Belfasts historie. Oplev, hvordan spændingerne opstod, som endte med at føre til voldsudbrud og terrorisme i 70'erne. Kom og se, hvordan naboer til Belfast ærer deres helte i vægmalerierne i deres kvarterer. Besøg kvartererne, hvor alting skete: borgernes protester, angrebene mod den civile befolkning og konfrontationerne mellem IRA og de protestantiske paramilitære grupper. Vi vil besøge vigtige steder for begge sider af konflikten, såsom Den Internationale Fredsmur, og mindehagene, der er bygget af begge sider, for at afslutte med at se fredsprocessen i Nordirland og forsvinden af vold i gaderne.

Vi fortsætter vores vej gennem Cupar Way, forbi fredens mur, hvor vi kan efterlade vores eget budskab om fred ledsaget af vores underskrift
På Shankill Road vil vi nærme os den mindre kendte side af konflikterne ved at besøge vægmalerier, der er dedikeret til kvarterets helte eller mindesmærket for de uskyldige ofre i angrebet på pubben Bayardo.

Tour guide was super helpful and knew a lot about both aspects. We had some tough weather but she kept it positive and we ended up learning a lot.
I was with my family and friends (6 people group) in Belfast earlier this week. We decided to hire a private tour with this company and Andrés attended us. Andres is a machine. Great knowledgeable about the history and idiosyncrasies of not only Belfast but Northern Ireland as a whole. As you travel with him you are taking a dive into the streets, characters, legends and stories of this beautiful and long-suffering city. He tells it all hard without becoming tedious. Delve in on request and also gave us some luxury stops in unforgettable pubs and cafes that you would skip if you went on your own. We did the Belfast political tour with the Laura guide and loved it! He explained the history of the conflict in a very clear and close way, and solved all our questions so that we could understand everything without problem. Many thanks also to Andrés, who organized everything excellently and was attentive throughout. Highly recommended!!
Daiji ( David) was really good guide, we really enjoyed the tour although initially it was booked in Spanish-speaking but the guide had an inconvenience and they suggested to us join the English-speaking one. 💯
