We had a great tour of a distillery in a very unique, location in the old Crumlin Rd gaol. The restoration of the derelict gaol to first class distillery visitor centre is truly magnificent. Our guide, Owen, was well informed and presented everything from the story or the original business to the modern day very well. The whisky is great too. An excellent experience and highly recommended.

Learned alot about Irish whisky (Mcconnell s doesn't use the e). Even though I overstayed at Titanic Tour and was late, I still got the whole tour. Meave's and Ethan's enthusiasm was delightful.

I would highly recommend visiting the distillery for one of the tours. My husband and I were very impressed as soon as we stepped into the foyer, the decor is warm and inviting, we received a warm greeting from the staff. Conor our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed the whisky tasting even though I'm not a big fan of the spirit, I think McConnells 5 year blend has converted me lol. It was great to learn about the distilling process and also the history of the building as it was a former jail. We will definitely be back to experience the afternoon tea and perhaps try one of the other tours that are on offer. An enjoyable night out right on our doorstep.

We booked the Monday 5pm tour on a whim at lunchtime the same day, and we're so glad we did. This place is an absolute must-visit. Our tour guide, Niamh, was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of the distillery. She brought the story to life and made the entire experience both informative and entertaining. We've done several distillery tours before, but none quite like this one. The setting in the old gaol is fascinating in itself and adds a unique atmosphere that sets it apart from other distilleries. The history of the building is woven seamlessly into the tour, making it much more than just a whiskey experience. The investment, care, and attention to detail that have gone into restoring the site and bringing this remarkable brand back to life are truly astounding. From the beautifully restored building to the engaging exhibits and tasting experience, every aspect of the tour felt thoughtfully designed and exceptionally well executed. Whether you're a whisky enthusiast or simply interested in local history, there's something here for everyone. If you're in the area, this is definitely not to be missed. We would highly recommend it and would happily visit again.

My dad and I were visiting Belfast as a memory tour for my dad who had grew up in Belfast and left 50yrs ago. Connor was an amazing tour guide, really knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend for all! Despite not being a big drinker the experience was really informative and the Whisky was lovely. Definitely stop in the bar afterwards for another drink, the old fashioned was lovely! Connor is a real credit to the company and made our experience really enjoyable. Thank you.
