Hippie Surf School & Surf Camp introducerer dig til surfing på nogle af Sri Lankas mest fantastiske strande. Professionelle surfcoacher alle med mindst otte års erfaring i det lokale område fører dig til de bedste bølger og lærer dig grundlaget for god surfing i et sjovt og sikkert miljø. Hippie Surf School & Surf Camp tilbyder surfoplevelser fra samlede begyndere, der leder efter en introduktion til surfing til mellemliggende surfere, der ønsker at finjustere deres surfingsteknikker. Surfersessionerne, som dagligt er surf-safari, vil tage dig til nogle fantastiske surfplaceringer, der er perfekte til at lære at surfe. De to lektioner er en komplet introduktion til surfing, så uanset om du aldrig har surfet før eller ønsker et opdateringskursus, er oplevelsen skræddersyet specielt til dig. Der vil blive brugt tilstrækkelig tid med at forklare havets sikkerhed, hvilket sikrer, at du kender det sikre område at surfe eller svømme.

The best experience in my whole life! That was my dream to learn surfing. I was really happy to choose this guys. evErything was really easy to understand without my perfect English. Nice theory lesson and practice!

What a pleasant team! My wife started talking to them while we were still in the UK ( via whatsapp) and they have been nothing but a delight. They kindly arranged transport from our hotel, ensure we got back safely and the lessons - they were very comprehensive. They taught her how to handle her self on dry land 1st and then when she got in the water it was a 1 to 1. She absolutely loved the team and the experience!

We had a really nice surf lesson. Even the waves were difficult for us beginners, our teachers manage that we could learn a lot. All Team-Members were very friendly (especially dog Mogli) and helpful. Booking a lesson was very uncomplicated.

Mia the owner of hippy surf camp gave me all important instructions on the beach and one of his surf Instructor Jonty supported me perfectly in the water. He always corrected me right away and gave me helpful advices which helped me to stand up right away. I can really recommend these incredible sympathtic guys with a big knowledge of surfing and I appreciated very much this adventure. Very good value for money! Don’t wait go and surf with them 👍🏄🏼♀️

Had an amazing surfing first lesson with Rana. My goal was to ride at least 1 wave, but was able to get probably more than 15! Was really fun and had a lot of laughs. The whole crew there were really welcoming and easy to talk to. Definitely will go back next time I’m around!

It was an awesome Hikkaduwa surfing week! Great place, great waves and amazing instructors !!! Mia and Jonty are true professionals in their field - qualitatively explained the basic principles and conducted classes with a gradual complication. So in the end I could already catch the waves myself) I have never regretted that I had to get up at 6:30 to get to the very beginning. Jonty - thank you very much for your studies! Thank you!!!

My girlfriend and I were warmly welcomed by our instructors. They let us use surfboards that were in magnificent condition and they guided us all the way. They were very polite and helped us learn more with each wave. The only thing they didn't particularly focus on was teaching us how to surf without an instructor. Ie: how to paddle out and overcome swells and paddle to catch waves by ourselves. They were however extremely generous and let us both come back later in the afternoon for 1 hour free use of the boards.
Thanks for the feedback and wish you happy new year 2020! During each session, our instructors personally monitoring students and we only teach next level surfing techniques (paddling / turtle role etc) for those grab the technique faster and have excellent body balance on the water.
Just wanted to recommend this place. Great instructors, great in teaching and all with great personalities. Definitely making this my morning routine during my stay. Get up early and take an hour with these guys and you’ll have a great start of your days...

The staff of the hippie surf school were very patient and gave us great tips for beginners both during the introduction on shore and during surfing per se and were at our side in the form of one-on-one support. With a smile on his face and suggestions for improvement, any hint of frustration was immediately gone. Thanks for the great time!🏄🏼♀️ —— Hippe surf school team was absolutely patient with us. They gave us the best tips and advices both in the water and during the instructions on the beach. We had a one-on-one session and every failed try wasn’t that bad because of the funny and positive instructors. We'd come back anytime. Thanks for spending a good time with us!🏄🏼♀️
