Krydstogt ind i den magiske Cataract Gorge og gennem Launceston Riverfront Precinct. Kør nordover forbi Tamar Island, historiske bygninger; kirker, pubber og betydelige kvarterer. Prøve den rige mangfoldighed af livet, som vi krydser forbløffende maleriske flodbredder samfund, vinmarker og gårde, til den bemærkelsesværdige Batman Bridge. Tamar Valley er gennemsyret af romantik og besat med bushrangers, opdagelsesrejsende og fortællinger af guldgravere. Australiens længste vandrende flodmunding har mange naturlige bugter, og beskyttede indløb giver helligdommen til tusindvis af indfødte vandfugle, som kun kan ses på floden.

Dette er et 4 timers krydstogt, der afgår kl. 10.00 mandag onsdag og lørdag. Arbejder fra 1. september til 31. maj den alt vejrfartøj, Tamar Odyssey. Inkluderet i krydstogtet er morgente (Muffins Fruit Cake og Sweet kiks), let frokost, Tasmanian ost og frugtfad, lille Tasmanian øl og vinsmagning, ubegrænset te og kaffe og kommentarer under hele krydstogtet. (Vær opmærksom på særlige diætkrav ved reservationen) Gæster er nødt til at ankomme til Home Point-krydstogterminalen kl. 9.30 for at gå ombord på kl. 9.45. Dette krydstogt er tilgængeligt for kørestolsbrugere. Denne krydstogt inkluderer sejlsport ind i den magiske Cataract-kløft.

Very enjoyable cruise ! Commentary was great and there was morning tea and lunch provided . The lunch was a lovely selection of fresh wraps, focaccias and rolls , with fruit and cheese to follow . Also a wine and beer tasting on board .
A really interesting cruise starting in the Cataract Gorge then into the Tamar River and back. Skipper was Callum, providing a running commentary on the geography and history of the area, identification of bird life on the river, including the rare sea eagle. Morning tea was substantial, with tea and coffee, muffins and fruit cake. Lunch was just as substantial, with wraps and rolls containing various fillings, then a fruit and cheese platter. A wine tasting of local Tasmanian wines and beers was ably served by William. Tea and coffee was available at all times. This cruise was a great introduction to Launceston and its marvellous geography.

It’s an excellent and relaxing way to spend four hours in the care of a helpful, courteous and informative crew. We learned a lot about the colourful history of Launceston and the surrounding area of the Tamar river while enjoying some wine-tasting and a light lunch. It was good value for money and we would definitely recommend it for tourists and visitors to Launceston.
Amazing quality food and a lovely cruise! The cruise into the Gorge was a highlight and the service was spot on for the entire cruise.

We had a wonderful time on the Batman Bridge 4 Hour Luncheon Cruise, including sailing into the beautiful Cataract Gorge. It was such a relaxing day on the water and a perfect way to see the scenery from a different perspective. The captain’s commentary was informative and entertaining, adding so much to the experience. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it — we certainly didn’t leave hungry! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a laid-back and enjoyable cruise.
