Stående overfor Vila Olímpica kvarteret, det blev bygget i 1990 under ombygningen af dette område af Barcelona. Marinaen blev designet af arkitekterne Oriol Bohigas, Josep Martorell, David Mackay og Albert Puigdomènech. Byen havde brug for en sportshavn, der ville opfylde strenge standarder, og det var stedet for sejlturneringerne under olympiske lege i 1992. Fiskeskulpturen af arkitekten Frank Gehry, der vandt Pritzkerprisen i 1989, er blevet et af symbolerne for post-olympiske Barcelona og ser ud som om den bobler langs Middelhavets vand. What a great evening ! Our skipper Marie was so kind, knowledgeable and fun! She gave great info about Barcelona and the port area as well as sailing facts. Our musician, Arjun (sp?), was excellent on the saxophone. Marie sang for us while Arjun played. It was lovely! The weather, relaxed atmosphere and snacks/drinks were perfect. Highly recommend this adventure.
