OFF SONAR REPORTABLE TREATMENT

What happened at OffSónar Barcelona is unacceptable and, in my opinion, should be reported. The festival had three stages, but at no point was it clearly and beforehand communicated that if you left one stage, you could no longer re-enter that stage or access the other main stage. This information did not appear either in the ticket purchase, in the venue signage, nor was it clarified on social media, despite many people asking on Instagram and not receiving a response. Yesterday we spent nearly two hours in a line to get in, only to end up entering in a funnel effect, feeling overwhelmed and almost suffocated. The staff did not provide information, responded rudely, and people began to get desperate. The organization did not guarantee minimum conditions of information, safety, or good treatment of the public. We paid for a ticket that, in theory, allowed us to enjoy all three stages and various DJs throughout the day. It is unacceptable that, due to poor crowd management, access between stages is limited without clear communication and without offering alternatives. For all these reasons, I am going to file a formal complaint and request a full or partial refund of the ticket price. Additionally, I want to initiate a collective complaint. If you also experienced this situation and want to join, message me privately with: Name Number of tickets Evidence (photos/videos/screen captures) The more people who join us, the stronger the complaint will be. I hope to receive a clear response from the organization within a reasonable timeframe; otherwise, I will start a petition and take the case to consumer protection associations that are already active in the fight against abuses in festivals and events, such as OCU, FACUA, or ADICAE, among others.

Cool to see but only if there's a show or something going on

Even though it was pretty, it was kind of boring. Nothing to really see or do besides shop a little. The shops were very unique and authentic so that was great, but unless there is a show or something going on there it's just kind of boring.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your visit to Poble Espanyol. While it is true that events add a special value, to fully understand the architectural synthesis and discover the unique history behind our 117 buildings, we highly recommend our guided tours or the audio guide. We hope to welcome you back soon!

Total fraud. You pay for Disneyland façades and walls that are only empty!

A very dear EMPTY SHELL! The idea of combining the different types of buildings in the Spanish provinces into a single village is excellent. What's less so is that they're just facades. And it's been going on for years. Why not open a few houses, typical of each province by furnishing them with furniture from different periods and organize circuits in the witness houses rather than fill the ground floors with shops so-called artisans or closed restaurants. In Norway, in Oslo, there is the Museum of Rural Life. The houses are furnished, open and show the evolution of buildings and furniture over the ages. So much more enriching, intellectually! With an entrance fee of 15 euros per person, you will visit a ghost village, in the heart of which, sits on the main square called "Plaza mayor", a white plastic barnum erected all year round to host private events. TOTAL SCAM. You pay to visit half-empty shops and half-closed restaurants. Never again!

Not worth it. Go see the real Spain!

A sanitised version of Spain. The Epcot/Disney version. I suppose it’s ok if you have kids and want a pedestrianised, enclosed area to stroll/shop/eat. But may places were closed. There was a beer festival /big tent in the big square which was blasting EDM. Not exactly in tune with the surroundings.

We are sorry that the Biergarten event dampened your visit. We are working to ensure that leisure and culture coexist in total harmony. Poble Espanyol was created in 1929 to preserve authentic Spanish architecture. Today, it is home to over 20 artisans working live, various exhibitions, and a wide gastronomic offer. For a more complete experience, we recommend our new guided tours, designed to delve deeper into our historical value. We hope you visit us again to discover our most authentic side!

Recommended on my 2nd BCN visit

One of the most curious excursions we have done in Barcelona has been the visit of Poble Espanyol. You get there great on the 13 bus, we took it on Avenida María Cristina to the Poble Espanyol stop. I imagined it bigger but it was fun, with lots of shops and restaurants open, plus it matched us with the Biergarten BCN, which was with a tent in Central Square. It is a reproduction of streets, buildings and monuments typical of different regions of Spain. It is great to go with children with an area with slides that had a great time. We took a family pack and paid 40€ for the 4. We ate at the Bodeguita del Poble. Worth the visit.

Very Very Boring !!!!

Maybe it’s the time of year that we visited (end of March) but this place was very very dull !!! The buildings looked nice and very authentic to the various different regions but that’s it ? We’ve seen buildings like this…..because we’ve actually travelled and seen the genuine article. Needs something to make it fun though ? If you want to explore Spain without actually exploring Spain then you may find it entertaining but sorry this place wasn’t for us.

Operatørens svar

How lucky you were to travel so far as to visit all the regions represented at Poble Espanyol! The site was built precisely to preserve the national architectural heritage, as some of the original buildings no longer exist. Even so, we appreciate your comments and your visit!

Disappointment

The experience was not positive, the vast majority of shops, workshops and restaurants were closed. You pay admission to enjoy services that are supposed to be available, and when you arrive it is practically all closed.

A disaster

What a disappointment! I can't believe they charge admission. It's a free entry place. A lot of walking with some areas blocked because they were preparing the main square. Half of the businesses were closed. Not an open workshop. From my point of view an embarrassment! We could not even sit on a terrace at 17:00 in the afternoon for drinks. All closed!!!The only good thing was the viewpoint from the top of the hill.

See if you want to visit Spain in one gois

An interesting tour of all the architecture of Spain in one place. The central square a little spoiled by a huge tent, does not detract from the charm of this place. Watch out for the scam of crafts, pottery sold as local while on the packaging was awkwardly crossed out the mention “mode in china”
