Amazing experience, went to market to shop for ingredients and the class prepared all the dishes. Everything was delicious! Great experience.

Excellent experience. Family friendly. Tasty paella. Plenty of Sangria. Highly recommend!
This was easily one of the highlights of our trip. My husband, my parents, my in-laws, and I took this class together, along with a handful of other participants, and every single one of us left talking about how much fun we had. The entire experience lasted about three hours and was worth every minute. We met at the cooking lab, where we were introduced to our chef and the rest of the group before taking a short walk together to La Boqueria Market. There, our chef showed us how to choose the freshest seafood and explained what to look for (and what to avoid) when selecting ingredients. It was such a fun and informative way to learn before heading back to the kitchen. We were also a few minutes late due to a delayed flight and traffic, and our chef couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating. Back at the lab, we made our own sangria and enjoyed delicious pan con tomate prepared by the team. They served two different versions, and both were incredible. It was the perfect way to relax before getting started. The cooking itself is what truly made this experience special. This wasn’t just a demonstration—it was incredibly hands-on. We cut squid, peeled shrimp, prepped ingredients, stirred the paella, and participated in every step of the cooking process. I also had the chance to help make the Tarta de Santiago, a traditional Spanish almond cake, which was a fun surprise. Everything we made was absolutely delicious. The seafood was unbelievably fresh, and the finished paella was one of the best meals we had in Spain. Once it was ready, our chef and the kitchen assistants plated everything beautifully while keeping the kitchen spotless throughout the class. We enjoyed our meal together, followed by our homemade dessert and a shot of crema catalana to end the afternoon. Our chef was knowledgeable, professional, funny, and encouraging, and the kitchen assistants kept everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. The atmosphere was relaxed, engaging, and welcoming, making it a great experience whether you’re an experienced cook or a complete beginner. A couple of tips: book directly through their website for the best price, and don’t be fooled by the exterior. It may look like a small hole-in-the-wall from the outside, but once you walk through the door, you’ll find an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for something fun, delicious, interactive, and uniquely Barcelona, I can’t recommend this class enough. It was so much more than a cooking class—it was an experience our family will remember for years to come.
Maria and Andres were an amazingly wonderful duo—we thoroughly enjoyed our experience: greeting, market tour, cooking and explanations!
This was a highlight of our trip to Barcelona. The Paella was fantastic and the small group setting was perfect.
Great food and service by Leljko. We have a pleasant dinning experience in Split.
We loved our cooking experience! Chef Andres and Maria were wonderful and made the night very entertaining. They were respectful of everyone’s dietary needs so it worked for everyone. Would definitely recommend.
