Wow, did we have a wonderful and highly knowledgeable tour guide! Anna had a fun spirit and was very knowledgeable about the events of D-Day and WWII in the Normandy area. I was particularly moved when she shared with me that during this past year's D-Day commemoration, a veteran shared with her that the time is coming when survivors of D-Day will no longer be present, and how important it is to him that the next generation continue to tell the stories of what happened on this day and during WWII. They did something very important, and their experiences need to continue to be shared and learned from.
Ana was our tour guide and she was exceptional! 5 Stars. I do a lot of tours when I travel to Europe from USA - this was one of the best. Tour started promptly at 9:00 and we returned to our hotel at exactly 5:30 just as promised. Tour pace was perfect and tailored to the group’s interest (we were a group of 6). Van was air conditioned, clean and comfortable. We stopped for lunch for 1 hour. Enough time to eat and explore a little church in the plaza where John Steele “landed”. Tour guide was fun, knowledgeable, prepared with maps and pictures. Highly recommend.
Very nice experience. Brice was an amazing guide and companion to have on the tour with all the insights and cooperation. Cheers.
We are very glad we did this tour, it looks us to the sites we wanted To see. Our tour guide, Paul, was very informative and knowledgeable.
This was the best tour I have ever been on! Our tour guide Remy was amazing! He was very prepared and professional. I got to see and learn so much. Seeing Omaha beach takes your breath way.
Excellent! Paul was a great guide but he may have been moving us too quickly from spot to spot. Again, excellent but quickly for me as a history crazed guy,
Hello, We are glad to read that you had a terrific time with Paul. We try to maximize our group tours, by including the best sites therefore timings are crucials. You should have booked a private tour for a slower and "in depth" experience.
Paul was our guide for this exceptional all-day tour. I booked this tour for my husband who is a big fan of the Band of Brothers series, as well as all things WW II related. I personally, have never seen the show. But that did not stop me from having an incredible time. I learned so much! My husband thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Paul was very knowledgeable, and seemed very passionate about what he was teaching us. The extra visuals he brought along are the icing on the cake that aided in our understanding. The van was very clean, comfortable, and safe. Thank you Paul, for a great day and sharing so much great knowledge with us! I highly recommend this tour!
On June 7th we took the Band of Brothers tour with Guillaume. I felt I could take the AP American History Exam & get the highest score after this tour. He was the best!, he knew the limits of traffic so moved stuff around & found places to drop us off & pick us up w/o too many steps. He was knowledgeable, engaging & never boring. He was politically sensitive. The best part was when he whipped out an Airborn Ranger flag for us to pose w/ in the same place as the show had another flag & then let us see the original to compare.
Our Band of Brothers tour with Rethro of Bayeux Shuttle, on May 21, 2026, was truly magnificent. Before the tour even began, he had already researched my uncle, Gerald Lorraine, who served with Lieutenant Winters. That level of preparation made the experience deeply personal and unforgettable. Rethro was exceptionally knowledgeable about Normandy events and places including every aspect of the Band of Brothers story. He brought the history to life in a way that made us feel as though we were there. Although my wife had provided my Uncle’s name and military company information when booking the tour, I had no idea he knew about my Uncle Jerry’s involvement with Easy Company, so hearing him speak about it was incredibly moving - not only because of our family connection, but also because of the care and respect he showed for all the heroes who served in World War II. He also provided thoughtful historical context, explaining how the war developed from the early 20th century through World War I and into the events before, during, and after World War II. From the moment we boarded the van and introduced ourselves, it was clear that this tour would be something special. When I said my name was Dan, Rethro immediately mentioned my uncle Jerry and his role in Normandy and throughout the war. I was genuinely surprised and deeply touched. Many thanks to Rethro and the Bayeux Shuttle. Dan and Patty John and Susi
We thoroughly enjoyed our Band of Brothers tour. Valentin was very knowledgeable and well spoken. His love of history and passion for sharing his knowledge was very clear. He adapted nicely to our request to include Utah Beach since one of our group members’ grandfather was a frogman who helped prepare for the D-day landing there. Valentin provided context and we all know more about his role and what he may have experienced. He also provided context for my uncle's service story that started on the same beach one month later. The itinerary was perfect and the tour and spending time with Valentin has been one of the highlights of our trip.
