Balinesisk landsby oplevelse

We wanted to experience Balinese culture beyond the usual tourist attractions, and this village visit gave us a wonderful glimpse into the local way of life. Our guide was patient and very knowledgeable, sharing insights into Balinese traditions, religion, beliefs, food and livelihoods. I particularly enjoyed learning about the rituals surrounding birth and death, family temples and the daily offerings made to the Gods. It felt like a very authentic and holistic cultural experience. We also had a lovely traditional meal at a local warung, surrounded by peace and serenity. The highlight for me was the water blessing at Beji Griya Waterfall. I initially thought it would be a simple ritual, but the beautiful surroundings, the ceremony and the whole experience were truly magical. A very meaningful and memorable experience. Highly recommended if you want to understand and appreciate Balinese culture on a deeper level.

This trip was very interesting and it was great to go into a local village and have everything explained. The waterfalls will blow you away.

Absolutely amazing day out and our host Eric and his family were deeply welcoming. We enjoyed morning tea, fresh coconut water and a tour of tue family compound and temples. Eric was very knowledgeable and humble, his devotion to his faith, family, village and extended community was inspiring. We made canang sari, lunched at a local warung (amazing!!) And completed with a full water purification and offerings at waterfall which was truly breathtaking. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour with our six and eight year old. Eric was patient and excellent at explaining Balinese traditions and home life. He guided us through the cleansing ceremony, and the kids loved it! Highly recommend this tour, especially for families. A lovely contrast to our resort stay.

Amazing experience with Eric, visiting his Balinese home and learning about his traditional life. Once in a lifetime experience at a beautiful waterfall and caves for holy blessing.

This was a truly amazing and unique tour. Eric was wonderful and took us into his home, providing us with an insight into Balinese life, culture, religion and food. We were treated with an array of special sweets and local fruits prepared by his Mother and served by his Aunt. We were then taken to his family’s rice field followed by a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we went to the water temple for a water blessing ceremony. Walking through the waterfalls and caves while being guided through a religious ritual was very special and something I will always remember.

During my Bali trip, I had the opportunity to visit Eric's village to see their way of life. It was a great experience, many experts have heard about how their houses are built. They are very Hindu. Eric explained everything to me in detail. Their sweets and coffee are very special and very tasty. He had prepared lunch for us. We participated in religious rituals in their village. This was a special occasion. An old temple. This event will remain in my memory forever. My friend Eric helped me to do that experience.

This would have to be one of the best cultural experiences in Bali in my opinion. It is very authentic, informative and interesting. Eric is the perfect guide and was happy to answer any questions we had on Balinese culture. Every part of the tour was great but my favourite part was the Water Cleansing Ceremony at the end. Absolutely brilliant experience. Highly recommend.

A fantastic authentic day out. Eric showed us around his village, met his family, his animals and visited his family farm. He shared so much knowledge of his culture. The water purification is a must! The waterfall has been the highlight of my trip with my 2 teenage girls. Lunch was fresh and lovely as well. If you want authentic Bali with no fellow tourists, this is for you.

The Bali Village experience was outstanding. The opportunity to visit a small village was amazing. Our guide, Eric, was a beautiful human. We visited his family home and were immediately immersed in the deeply spiritual nature of the Balinese way of life. We tasted Baliese traditional breakfast cakes and coffee. Delicious. Eric then explained that their spirituality is not founded in Hinduism per se but in their culture. There behaviour is not directed by doctrine, but community care. The lunch we had was delicious. We had Balinese style dish and a chicken dish (all included). After lunch we took part in a spiritual cleansing ceremony. This was so amazing. The scenery was beautiful and the ceremony itself was deeply moving. We can't stop talking about it and i feel like a better person for the experience. Thank you Balibuddies for a great experience. Wed strongly recommend it to anyone wishing to gain a deeper insight into the island and its history.
